Todays journey :
Thameslink Norwood Junction to London Bridge - Class 700/0 - One of the busiest Thameslink trains that I have seen in the Off-Peak. It would make a lot more sense to put a Class 700/1 on that service
344 London Bridge - Liverpool Street Station - Enviro 400h Classic - The driver was so slow, that it was emotionally damaging to sit on that bus even though it was for only 15 mins
Greater Anglia London Liverpool Street to Witham - Class 321 renautus - I sat in first class (which was declassified) and it was a very nice environment, the seats were nice, and it was empty. The ambience was however ruined when a group of hooligans came onto the train, and started vaping, which prompted me to text the BTP on 61016, although they stopped after someone else in the first class section told them to stop.
Greater Anglia Witham - Braintree Freeport - Class 321 Renautus - I again sat in First Class, and it was very nice again, and the line was a nice single track with great scenery, it is strange to think that trains from London go on such a remote line. I also heard some nice tones as I was at the front of the train
Greater Anglia Witham to Braintree Freeport - Class 321 Renautus - Nothing to report
Greater Anglia Braintree Freeport to London Liverpool Street - Class 720 - The padding on the seats was much nicer than the rock solid Class 321 seats, but the shape and width of the seat let it down. The aisle was also VERY narrow.
Circle Line Liverpool Street to Victoria - Nothing to report
36 Neathouse Place to Vauxhall Bus Station - Enviro 400H MMC - Very fast driver
196 from Vauxhall Bus Station to Wharncliffe Gardens - An average driver, but once we passed West Norwood, he got the hammer down, unfortunately he skipped my stop though.

I am not someone who usually travels with GA, so I don't really know their usual service patterns but yesterday, I didn't see any Class 321's apart from the ones that I travelled on. Perhaps they may be out more frequently during weekdays and peaks.

As some of you may have noticed, I usually only have 3 or 4 London bus trips a year nowadays. Anyway, I have deduced that by just 2 days, my North London trip on June 4th will be my earliest 2nd trip of the year since 1992! My trips were more frequent then as I followed routes especially in central London in more detail and knew much less about the rest of the country in general.

*The Rock's voice* FINALLY (Oh you people are not hearing me properly). I said FINALLY I've done the 246 and my goodness. This is going to be on the list of buses I'm gonna do more often. I loved the section from Biggin Hill to Westerham especially. I still can't believe I've not done the 208 or 51 end to end despite getting on those buses frequently in my younger days. They're on my to do list. Paul all I can say is you were definitely right in when you recommended the 246 to me. My next mission when getting that bus is trying to get on a double decker one.

You'd be surprised a 10.8m Enviro200 can fit round the country road leading into Chartwell!

Two to report ............ My "Bus journey" yesterday. ML VW1263 on the E8 from Busch Corner to Boston Manor then Piccadilly Line to KX-StPan and Northern down to Old Street (which they.re STILL knocking about - everlasting roadworks). Walked up to the 135 Terminus at Provest Street / Brunswick Place - photo'd for about an hour - fighting the Sun and traffic but managed a few decent pics including the mandatory one of an EHV in front of the 3 Crowns Pub. Incredibly busy for a BH. There are a couple of magnificent buildings to be had as backdrop for the buses too. Caught EHV14 down to Westferry station (WES) and spent some time there doing the 135, D7 & D3. There were a few EHV's out on the D7 too (indication of future use?? ). Manage to photo both of the only two SCL E200's 36354 & 36359 I require within 3 minutes of each other ! Then DLR to Gallions Reach and work. Photographed TT WH31119 with it's "Let's do London" graphics just outside the DLR depot. (Fortunately none of my colleagues was about to witness this 👍 - I haven't yet "come out" 🤣). After work - DLR / Jubilee & SWR from Beckton back to Richmond. The day finished with RTP DLE30349 as my chariot from Richmond Station back to Isleworth.
My "Bus Journey" today. ML VW1038 on the E8 from Busch Corner to Boston Manor then Piccadilly Line via Acton Town to Ruislip where I spent an hour photographing the U1 / 331 / E7 / 398 / 278 / H13 - nice variety of buses - the main purpose of this was to photo ML DE1167 (having finally come off either the U2 & U3) which was the last one of this batch required 👍. Then Metropolitan back to Harrow-on-the-Hill for a VHR / BCE / BME fest on the X140 / 183. Also managed a shot of RTP DE20159 on the H11 which was the final RTP DE I need to photo. Then boarded ML VW1372 on the 182 for a trip over to Brent Cross. Lots more photo's of various stuff there including AL SW3 (the last of the 10 I need to photo) on the 102. Then treated myself ?? to a ride on AL SW10 on the 102 from Brent Cross to Golder's Green (Performed OK other than being a bit too warm on the upper deck). Again just photo'd whatever turned up for 1/2 hour and then Nortehrn Line to Camden Town - up the road to Camden Road for OG 378237 to Gunnersbury and RTP LT998 back to Isleworth. Another good day. Lots of "final" shots achieved over the two days. N shift tonight 😒 but at least dawn is now early enough to permit a bit of photography on the way back before sleeping. N Greenwich is always worth a look or might try CAT for some 5 LT's and the last few N15's.

Greater Anglia- Stratford to Tottenham Hale (looks the 315 days are over. Yesterdays journey to tick of the soon to be axed Brighton GWR service (I've a few other journeys ranging between November last year and the last month or so I want to share as they're quite interesting)
Walked to Morval Road bus stop
The 432 to Tulse Hill Tavern (HV409) - first Gemini3 I've had on the route under Arriva (HV138 is the only other HV I've used thus far). Other than that, nothing interesting
Walked to Tulse Hill Station
Southern service to East Croydon (Class 455) - not long left for these now, must tick off some other journeys on them
Thameslink service to Brighton (Class 700) - nothing special here. You really do feel that lack of padding on such a longer journey
Had some time to kill so grabbed some Pret a Manger for the first time ever
Great Western Railway service to Oakfield Park (Class 158) - the original plan was to go to Bristol Temple Meads and then wait 12 minutes for the return but due to signal issues between Cosham & Southampton, that didn't happen and in order to meet the return, I had to alight at Oakfield Park as the train was already nearly 30 minutes late. As for the train itself, I was very impressed with my first ride on a Class 158 - the seats were comfortable, train looked very clean & tidy & I loved the diesel motor on these, very nice sounding. Despite the problems, the guard and ticket officer on board were very helpful with people specifying the best to change and what platform they need. The service itself was very busy even before we hit the disruption, especially the Brighton to Southampton section and I overheard a woman speaking to another woman about how this 3 car train sometimes is absolutely rammed to the doors. One final thing to note was we ended up having to divert via Eastleigh to reach Southampton which involved an extra unscheduled stop and the driver needing to switch ends which further delayed the service
Great Western Railway service to Brighton (Class 165) - sadly, the disruption hadn't subsided by time we reached Southampton and we were diverted via Eastleigh again - up until that point, we was bang on time. In the end, we reached Brighton over 30 minutes late, mainly crawling from Farnham to Brighton. This train was clean inside and the service was busy though not as much as the earlier trip until we reach Southampton where once again, the section between their and Brighton was especially very busy
Thameslink service to East Croydon (Class 700)- as a result of the disruption, I was scheduled to miss my final train from East Croydon but as luck would have it, my final train was delayed by two minutes, enough for me to switch from Platform 2 to 4 at East Croydon
Southern service to Tulse Hill (Class 455)
The 2 to Brixton Water Lane (HV315) - nothing to report
Walked home

That actually makes it even better I did it on a sunny Sunday - first the 320 to biggin hill valley, then the 246 to chartwell and back to Bromley north. What a sight!

Today I had a score to settle. Just like Mo Salah with Real Madrid (like if you got the reference) mine is with GAL'S VE's. Last time I tried going on them, the only one left went to A and didn't come out again but not this time.
Walked to Wood Green Station Piccadilly line- Wood Green to Leicester Square Northern line- Leicester Square to Waterloo SW Railway- Waterloo to New Malden Checked LVF when leaving New Malden and seeing that VE3 was arriving at New Malden Station in 1 minute so had to make a run for it. Made it (just). VE3- (213)- New Malden Station to Sutton Bus Garage Was gonna take the 413 to Morden from A but one crashed into a building further up the road sparking quite a few diversions so ended up walking back up Bushey Road to Collingwood Road for an 80. DOE19- (80)- Collingwood Road/Bushey Road to Morden Station (bus was curtailed to Morden for most likely the RTC) Northern line- Morden to Leicester Square Piccadilly line- Leicester Square to Wood Green
