I just wanted to make a thread about the different driver changeover points of London's bus routes ( hopefully this will make it easier for me to avoid these points to prevent any delays on my journey.  ). So does anyone know any? |

I've noticed since Abellio have started running the K3 a changeover point for drivers is at Cromwell Road Bus Station. Drivers would stop at the usual stop but will then drive in the bus station and stop at the disabled access stand. Drivers would change there and then continue the route towards Roehampton Vale. Slightly frustrating as it can add almost 5 mins to the journey. 5 minuets may not seem a lot but could cause you to miss a train at Norbiton station as an example. Previously there was no change over when being run by LU.

Route 55 - Leyton Bus Garage
Route 56 - Leyton Bakers Arms
Route 58 - Leyton Library (Towards East Ham); Leyton Station (Towards Walthamstow)
Routes 69 & 330 - Canning Town Bus Station (Sundays buses run light to WH)

A few from me - happy to be corrected by those who know better.
55 - Leyton Garage
48 and 56 - Bakers Arms stops
97 (Leyton allocation) - at Leyton Garage
123 - Tottenham High Road stop on Monument Way on e.b journeys. Don't know what happens on w.b journeys since the revised route at T Hale started.
41 - Tottenham Garage stop
339 - I've seen drivers change at Stratford City since the extension started.
215 - I think these run out of service from Walthamstow Central to / from Leyton.
W11 - change over at Crooked Billet Sainsburys and use a shuttle car.
397 - change over at Crooked Billet Sainsburys and use a shuttle car or swap over buses via the garage.
34 - change over at Lea Valley Tesco stop on A406
444 - change over at Lea Valley Tesco stop on A406
W16 - I think changeovers at done at Chingford Mount
W15 - I think these changeover on Ruckholt Road near Lea Interchange.
W14 - a guess but I assume at Leyton ASDA or light runs to / from Lea Interchange garage.
212 and W12 - change over at Selbourne Road, Walthamstow as TfL don't allow changeovers in the bus station
125 - I think these changeover via light runs to and from Palmers Green garage.
38 and 73 - via Mildmay Park stops where the Arriva crew office is.

Ones that I know (note this is not bona fide; in good faith):
111 and H37: Hounslow Bus Station stops
290 and R70: Fulwell, Sixth Cross Road
281: South Road/Fulwell
237: Either at Brent Lea or Brentford Magistrates Court (although I've only seen it done here towards Hounslow Heath)

If I may add,
116 - Green Lane (Towards Ashford Hospital) Not sure if this till happens.
482 and 285 - Both routes usually changeover at Hatton Cross. The 285 Could be for both directions however I've never seen the 482 drivers change before heading to Heathrow Terminal 5 just heading to Southall Town Hall.

34 is now AD, was the Tesco when drivers were from LV/EC! Incidentally the 192 changes drivers at the Bounces Road since it moved to E - bizarre place to change over if you ask me!

108 is Lewisham Bus Station
129 Greenwich Cutty Sark
225 Marquis of Gramby.
Most of the routes that serve Denmark Hill and Camberwell Road which are run out of Q and QB change at Camberwell Green. The following routes I'm 99% sure of-
42 Bricklayers Arms
453 Old Kent Road Tescos
176 Wyndham Road (the really wide part of Camberwell Road)
P5 Vassell Road
63 and 363 Clayton Road or Peckham High Street depending on what direction they are traveling in.
