I know that the 172/188 change happens on London Road sometimes. I've seen this happen on a Sunday, and during the peak time (just saw a change now).

I am surprised that they are allowed to change there, considering that road is narrower than new Kent Road and would cause even more disruption for other buses.

The thing is is that there are always 1 or two buses parked on New Kent Road (I was told in another thread it was for meal reliefs). So when there's a 1 or 188 picking up passengers from the nearby bus stop, its a bit awkward as drivers have to either wait for the bus to leave, or try and park in front if they can. Although it makes sense to change there during off peak hours, or on Sundays. But on other days/hours, its really not ideal.

285 has now changed to Central Way for journeys heading to Heathrow. I guess this is due to the bus stop changes at Hatton Cross

That's what I like about Go-ahead's changeover tactics, for the most part the relevant points were only done during the daytime up until around 18:00. I believe it was the same when Stockwell ran the 188, their changeovers being on Waterloo Road. Buses in the Tooting Broadway area ceased live crew changing around the same time.

The 188 handovers were done at Waterloo as drivers could then take meal reliefs at RA. Moz

I saw a driver change on the 385 (!) at Crooked Billet Sainsburys.
I suspect there is a connection with why the 675 school bus decker is often parked at Sainsburys in the morning - the driver perhaps works the 675 then takes a break and does a few turns on the 385? I saw the 675 decker leaving Ash Grove this afternoon so I assume the bus is driven back from Sainsburys around lunchtime.
I saw what ob1234 has already stated - D3 changes at Crossharbour and D7 at Island Gardens. I assume drivers travel on the DLR to get there - I was most surprised to have a crew change there.

156 - Queenstown Road/Silverthorne Road I believe they are actually done at Vauxhall Bus Station, despite passing outside QB. On a few occasions I have seen drivers change whist the bus is parked on the Bondway stand.
