Did the 112, 172 (finally), 211 and 266 all end-to-end today . The 112 is a strange and short route. I didn't expect to get to Brent Cross so quickly. Even though I didn't board the route during the peak hours, I could tell that a single decker would have nearly been full during my journey. 266 route was the long one. These routes go through some pretty weird areas. I never knew how industrial North-West London is. It reminded me of Woolwich, Thamesmead, Belvedere, and other areas further east. The 211 was a nice route to go on. Again, slightly quicker than I expected. I had the nice 2454 Euro VI hybrid. I used to kind of despise these buses, but after going on the 211 it's slightly grown on me now. I guess I just prefer seeing these buses in the Abellio livery as opposed to the Stagecoach one I see all the time. The thrash is actually quite nice when the bus is travelling fast! The 172 wasn't anything special. Got a slow-ish driver all the way to Brockley as well, which annoyed me a tiny bit. Went through areas that I'm used to already so I didn't see anything new. At least I got a healthier sounding bus for once in the form of 9836. Also, I've finally been able to take my local route from end to end without a short service lol (last time I tried, I got my favourite old PVL (the type with middle staircase) and got short serviced to Waterloo).

I agree, the 266 is a pretty strange one. The 260 is pretty much the same kind of thing, so don't knock yourself out on that one for a while

I did the 266 under Metroline end to end with a nice 05 reg TA, much more fun journey lol.

Did the 112 and 189 today. The 112, the route which was hyped by a close friend was very disappointing, I've had faster journeys on the 49! There was no traffic at all and most of the time we stayed between 20 and 30mph, even in the 50 part! The 189 however was excellent had a 60-reg going to Brent Cross, a 13-reg back to Oxford Circus, they are by far the best Enviro400H's I've been on, possibly the best in London.

66,256,300,346,347,362,364,368,370,372,375,376,474,498,499,W19,EL1/2 on far too many occasions end to end. lol. I'm sure there's a few I'm forgetting and that don't include commercial routes or the many c2c,dlr and tube routes.

What are the chances 3 people posted on this page they rode on the 112 this week! My 112 to was shockingly slow, and that was even before we arrived at an accident on the main road.

Is their a new timetable as that might be a factor for the slow journeys you & 'fg49' experienced? I did the 112 end to end under either Abellio or Travel London and our Caetano Nimbus was being thrashed to pieces.

I drove the 112 when it had proper single deck buses. MV's. Back in the operational days of R & I buses. (then MTL London onto Metroline) also the 266 when it had Metronomes and then AV's allocated although on lates I used to try and take a Optare Metrorider if one was about (couldn't stand the assault screen and the H2 buses didn't have them) oh they were the days.... Lol

I recently did the N63 full route. Liked it very much. Quite a unique routing and feels quite suburban through Upper Sydenham & Honar Oak. Busy though ..

Just did the 96 end to end today. I find it weird that after Dartford it just runs non-stop to Bluewater. Then again, given that cash fares were stopped this month, I'm not really surprise What is the connection between cash fares being stopped and the 96 running non stop between Dartford and Bluewater? Ideally the 96 should stop at Darent Valley Hospital.

Well seeing as the area is outside London, I assumed that most people would have paid by cash as opposed to using an Oyster (etc) given the other local routes use cash fares anyway.

The 96 has always been non stop since Bluewater opened, drivers can go either via Stone or via DVH
