Did the full route of 112 and part-routes of 148, 230, 232 and W4. Why weren't 9.3m E200s ordered for the W4 instead? The current buses are not adequate for such a busy route like that and some of the roads it passes through are incredibly tight. 9.3m are no longer made, they became 9.6m couple of years ago. Maybe this extra length is too much. There are not many buses of that length as 8.8 - 9m is preferred small bus. Can't see many 10.2m being bought either as 10.8m seems to have become new norm. |

Yesterday, I did the 37, 196, 333 & 345 end to end I've done all these end to end the 345 was so boring, thank goodness I wasn't alone when I did it. The company made the journey a bit better. |

I have done the 111 end to end but it was a euro 4 omncity which I didn't mind too much but yeea overall it was boring. |

I've done all these end to end the 345 was so boring, thank goodness I wasn't alone when I did it. The company made the journey a bit better. You should try doing the 111 - that's even worse. Done it in a VA, a nice ride I had too. |

I had a fast-ish driver on the 345 so made the journey more exciting. The 37 was boring as I had the slowest driver ever on the route. |

They drive faster, so journey is more interesting than trundling along the route.

They were brilliant buses nevertheless. Still, at least you haven't had the misery of riding an 09 Reg SP on the route. They should refurb them ASAP, then they'll be lovely. Take a trip on SP39 and you'll see what I'm getting at. |

Today I WALKED the 412 route in 2 1/2 hours - West Croydon to Purley! Quite an accomplishment ha!
