Enjoy Canterbury, your unlikely to encounter any regulation lol. One thing I do hope you do is try the 43 from Canterbury to Dover via Sandwich - a lovely route.

Love Canterbury ❤️ Stagecoach do an amazing job down there. Normally when a company operates in an area with no competition complacency sets with slapdash standards - oh and high fares because they know people have no other choice (except the car). Stagecoach East Kent don’t have this attitude, services are run generally incredibly well, the fleet is kept very modern and is maintained excellently, and fares are incredibly reasonable. This shows as lots of services are very well used, a lot of work is put into promoting public transport and it really shows. If only this attitude could be injected back into London. Top marks Stagecoach East Kent 👍

Could you explain the N72 comment? Roehampton and East Acton are popular areas. Like george I'm a little bemused you suggest East Acton and Roehampton are nowhere I meant that the starting point (Brunel Road) and the ending point (Norley Vale) are somewhat I’d consider middle of nowhere late at night when there aren’t really any other alternative routes. Rethinking about it again, there is the N74 not too far away and the first N72 from East Acton starts at 00:30. Guessing you're in university now? Yes, I was actually supposed to start last year but I took a gap year. oh ok I see what you mean now. The N74 does start really late possibly the latest starting night bus?

Top marks Stagecoach East Kent 👍 Yes, certainly agree - there's a few top notch operators who do well despite being a monopoly which is quite odd TBH. Ones where I've used many of their services over the years are the Crawley Metrobus network & Brighton & Hoves network - both well run operations that continue to do well.

At least you’re not too far away though, I’ll be going back up north to Huddersfield for my second year in a few days time , been back since early June but it’s just flown by. I’ve enjoyed the long summer though but not looking forward to travelling on First Huddersfield’s ancient fleet again. Although I won’t be using the bus up there as regularly as I had to last year.

Up in Halifax at the moment ... the people I stay with have moved so the bus into town is a Tiger Solo rather than a First B7RLE. Just seen a 14-reg First Enviro 400 in town with Halifax names so maybe Calerdale and Kirklees are getting a little investment. 5 year old buses are positively modern for First deckers in Halifax ... although you get newer from Arriva 17-reg MMCs

so don't really tend to do routes end to end but did the 411 E2E this weekend so list is as follows.
9 22 27 74 85 87 91 164 170 209 267 337 378 411 507 521 E1 H37
Lots of routes I've nearly done for route but not quite so can't count them for example 430 from South Ken to Roehampton Earl Spencer and not the final stop.
