Pretty good route (along with the 370). The Hornchurch end is a bit boring to be honest but the other end has the rural feel / farms which are always good to do in a DD!

That’s pretty much the only time I have been scared while doing end to ends (it was around 6pm in August!). I have waited and changed buses post midnight, 2am and later at Peckham and Willesden bus garage but Dagenham dock in the day is scarier!

The EL2 I am happy I did it before darkness. The Dagenham dock stand looks like a post apocalypse zone! The 365 really is as dull as dishwater. Honestly nothing nice about it at all. The one interesting about it (although not to do with the route) is the OmniCities which is a nice change from your regular E400, MMC, G2 or G3. The 174 and 175 I actually thought to be quite nice from what I did of them, they were alright, and the 145 too actually. Although I haven’t done those end to end so there may be nasty bits I was fortunate enough not to see on them lol. I think if I’m gonna do the 145 end to end I’ll need to take a blanket and pillow as it’s so long I’ll be on it forever. By far the nicest Romford route I’ve done is the 496, really lovely route all the way through. 296 is really good too but that needs to be done on a decker to really enjoy it.

Let’s just say I had 3 coffees today .... At least the Rainham stand had some greenery right behind it! “Look forward” to doing the 174, 175, 365 ..... Seriously the EL2, 145 and 266 (major chunk of it) were more boring and dire. To be fair I am probably jumping the gun on 175 and 174 as I haven’t done them yet but they are all in the same general area. I did do the 145 end to end and it was .... boring. I think I switched off sometime after Ilford on the 145 (was doing Leytonstone to Dagenham Asda) and as luck would have it did EL2 immediately after! Nothing beats the 2 hour 20 min ride I had on the 25 from Oxford Circus to Ilford in the evening peak in the last week before it was hacked!

The 365 is fine if you are interested in riding those Scanias, otherwise I do agree with you that it is mostly a dull route to ride seeing mostly follows other routes such as the 175 which also follows other routes between Dagenham & Collier Row which is basically the almost the entire 175 route.
The 174 is a nice interesting parts along it helped by the fact some of the routing is only served by the 174, though there are some dodgy parts along the route especially Hilldene Avenue in Harold Hill and the route can get very busy at times. One of my favorite things about the 174 is the both its destination almost have the same name on it despite terminating in a different area with Dagenham & Dagnam as a destinations on the route.
The 145 does seems to have divide opinion about the route as some find do it really boring and others like myself don't find it too bad. If you start the 145 from Leytonstone then it isn't too bad as only once you get to South Park Drive then the boring bit (from my opinion) starts until you get to Dagenham Heathway and if you do get a MMC on your end to end ride then probably won't need blanket and pillow as those MMC's are really nice comfortable buses to ride on even on a long journey

Did route 127 end to end today. It's a good route...until you reach Mitcham and it all goes south from there. Some parts of the route seem to be rather tight for double deckers, such as between Wallington Station and Carshalton Station and between Mitcham and Tooting. Would have loved to have done it while the OmniDekka's were on the route, and seeing Metrobus in Tooting which I learned today was under the Wandsworth wing rather than classed as part of Merton.

First end to end ride on the route was with an Omnidekka funnily enough, had rode one of the on loan PVL's before they arrived but not end to end. Most of Tooting is indeed part of Wandsworth although some of the area around Tooting Station is in Merton
