Even though I may get alot of hate from this (mostly from myself) Its my favorite body that I hate the most. The Marshall Capital bodied Dart SLF. ESPECIALLY 8.9m versions I can't stand 'Farcial' Darts either, only like the Euro III ones for their gearbox.

Of stuff currently in service I think the SOE's at A/AL look wrong... I have never thought that body suited a single deck, although I do not think the DOE's look too bad so I think it is it's application. Historically I always thought the Grey-Green B10M coaches converted to buses which ended up on the 188 for their last days looked really weird with their short rear overhang.

When I was small, I never liked the Grey Green Volvo B10M used on the 141... Even as a 5/6 year old I always thought the rear overhang was too short!
Fast forward to now and looking back at pictures, I like them, but only because they're different & unique looking!

Didn't like the buses Capital City Bus used on the 215/257 very ugly & no leg room if you're over 5'5",I belive they were Eastern Counties bodied buses originally from Southampton.

Worst looking, Alexander AV Volvo Alisas, Most East Lancs bodies, Dennis Darts on a 8.9m look too squat in my view, Darts/E200 what ever body look so much better on a 10.2 or 10.8m. I agree with SW11Simon SOEs look wrong but I think the Olympus/DOEs/Metrolines SELs are some of the best looking bus designs.

I think Optare are determined to bring ugly back with the MetroCity... What ever happened to those lot that were heading to LU / Epsom Coaches?

Definitely most ugly the Volvo Ailsa. Most ugly single deck mini bus the RW's. Not a fan of whatever it is that graces the 181. Such an absurd seat lay out inside and ugly to look at.
The Volvo's used by London Country on the 85,110 & 131 in the 90's were also ugly, but i quite liked riding on them , except in Summer because the radiators were always on.
Loved the Carlye bodied Darts, The Reeves bodied ones less so.

I didn't like the rear of the Titans when they first came out in the 70s with their rear lower deck design, especially when you compare it to that of the Metrobus. I also didn't initially like the rear of the PVLs, though the EVLs were better with placing their rear lower deck window.

As a youngster, I was always fascinated with the rear end of the Titan, probably cause most of my die cast models were Titans. Being a West Londoner and not getting to ride on them on a regular basis, it was always a treat to go up into town to ride a 'hole in the bus' (as I used to call them) I still and always will, prefer the Metrobus though.
