Seems that all of Tramlink's services have been suspended due to comms system failure (I'd guess that's the radio system). Not seen that happen before.

They are still running, but with severe delays down to signal failures in the Wellesley Road area Well TfL Trams Twitter feed said everything had stopped and this was confirmed by the main TfL website. A few minutes later there was a message saying what you've stated about the signal failure. As I'm not in Croydon I can't give an eye witness report and I'd agree the two messages are possibly in conflict - nothing unique about that as you can get confusing feedback on failures in the early stages of any incident. TfL Trams are now saying services are running but with delays.

TfL Trams are now saying services are running but with delays. I use the trams almost everyday to get to work. I reached East Croydon around 1550 hours and I could tell there were problems due to the amount of people at the stop. Also, the trams towards New Addington, Elmers End and Beckenham were all queuing up to get to the station. Anyway, the Wimbledon trams was due in 3 minutes but as usual it takes more than that to get there. When I finally boarded the tram I noticed the display board was also showing another Wimbledon tram due in 1 minute and the Therapia Lane due in 5 minutes. When the tram I was on got to the next stop at George Street I heard the announcement 'Due to operational reason, this tram will now be terminating at Phipps Bridge'. This is the first time I have ever heard such an announcement so I was quite surprised.
