Buses are a lot stronger than cars - I saw the aftermath of a incident where a VLA & a car collided. The bus had no damage whilst the car had its bumper hanging off. I was also involved in a crash in Eastbourne where our Enviro 300 was struck by a stupid driver - her car had a massive dent in whilst our bus just had a small cut in the bumper.

I would like to know how the car has soo much damage and the bus has very little! I know the roof has been cut off but the front end looks very battered!! It could be to do with the front of the car being designed to absorb the impact of the crash to help protect the occupants. This webpage has some detailed info about that.
