As suggested on the Turns & Obs thread, obs of buses that could really do with some attention in the livery department... I'll kick things off, some of the ex-First DE's on the 187 are looking a little grubby, DE1637 looked like it could do with freshening up... or at least a wash Seen parked up by Finchley Rd O2 Centre yesterday

The LX59 B9TLs at NX could do with a repaint (or maybe even a refurb). All over red would be interesting to see. The 94xx buses at WL could definitely do with a repaint (in fact, an all over refurbishment).

I was going to suggest PVL113 but I see it has not run in service for a few weeks. I last saw it on the day of the Stockwell Open Day. I wonder if some TfL big wigs saw it and ordered it off the road given its age and dull shade of pink livery. I just missed a chance to get a snap as it drove off down Whitehall as I took my camera out of my bag!

In the same spirit as Snoggle, I'm nominating PVL161 as do a whole host of the earlier PVLs that are clinging on for dear life.

The LX11 plate ones are still as good as new, but the LX59 ones aren't so much. They're worn out a little, and some of the blinds could do with a little more care. Weirdly enough I've only seen problems on the 59 plate ones. Not so much the 11 plate ones. Oh, and I also nominate the ex-133 WVL for repaints (+ refurbs). WVL96 isn't exactly looking it's best. Neither is the rest of the batch.

All of SPs 16-67, but especially 38 to 51 are crying out for a refurb, and 29-37 are looking rather grubby externaly, especially with the hand-painted black ad-frames, as seen on the 56 reg SPs (before their refurb) and the TPs drafted in at AH around 2007/8 time to oust the DTs inherited from Armchair
Some of Metroline (both West and Travel) buses do need some atention, especially the Enviros which have had their skirts painted by hand.
The 56 reg 'SDEs' at TF are looking a bit worse for wear too, so I would nominate them

9060 needs a refurb - it looks shabby and it still has the old Travel London seating moquette in the bus.
17478 or 17505 (can't remember which exact bus it is) needs it's handrails repainted inside the bus as the paint has fade on most of them. That bus hasn't got long left anyway.
9001 and 9017 need to be stored away until they get proper attention from WL. They sound awful at the moment.

DLA327 is looking shabby in its 2003 coat of paint. Not sure if its worth painting now as the 109 is lost in a few months. Is it just me or has anyone noticed that the paintwork on wrightbus vehicles seems to last longer than on ADL vehicles?

As much as your right, it won't happen. Only three of the batch have been painted whilst still with Go-Ahead which are open toppers WVL83 & 93 and arson victim (either WVL97 or 101). The open toppers also got a refurb whilst the arson victim was refurbed upstairs only.

I wonder why they didn't fully refurbish them ages ago though when they moved to AL? In fact, does anyone why a couple when to MW for a few weeks last year?

The 3 EN's at BE would look nice with a repaint All the SENs at BE need a repaint as well, SEN31 and SEN37's First Logos are easily visible as when they were removed the glue wasn't and lots of Dirt has stuck there. They are still carrying the First Fleetcodes
