Not a fan of the 2nd option, always prefer a variety of liveries rather than one but the 1st option I think is a great idea. Out of interest, would the specified point of each route be different or relative to either the border with London or where it connects with the first TfL route it meets? Probably the border. However what would it mean for routes like the 275 and the 331 that exit Greater London and go back in? Ah - you have misunderstood Busboy105 - I’m talking non-TfL routes in the TfL area - so the 331 ‘problem’ is not a problem. I think it would be where it connects with the first TfL route it meets after the border, if it meets another route, or if it doesn’t, the first stop immediately after crossing the border into the ‘country’. So that would be, for example, Esher on the 458/715, Swanley (from Orpington) on the 477, or Central Square, West Molesey on the 461.

I guess it’s because those operators wouldn’t want to have it because it means less money going into them.

It used to sort of exist in the form of the LLSA however TfL stopped paying and just replaced it with the LSP which doesn't pay operators for that

If I could extend any route it would be the 81 back to Isleworth Fire Station (I believe it did terminate there for 2 years), and my reasoning would be because I commute, or did commute, into Slough daily and it is/was always a pain having to take a bus to Hounslow Bus Station because the 237,235,117,H37 and E8 stop at a different stop from the 81 which requires walking... I think that would be very useful.

Extend the 399 to Barnet Hospital via Stapylton Road and the A411. The route would then serve Spires, Barnet Hospital bound only. With the Hadley Wood direction going via the High Street. The 389 would then become an independent route.
At the bottom of Beech Hill the 399 would be rerouted to go: A111 - Ferny Hill - Chase Farm Hospital - Gordon Hill
The route would be changed to run half hourly from 6:30 - 20:30
The route could be branded as a 'Hospital Link' service (Barnet Hospital - Spires - Hadley Wood - Chase Farm Hospital - Gordon Hill)
KEY: Red: Existing route Black: Proposed

To be honest I think it's possible even with all the roads it serves. To get from the entrance to Hadley Wood to Cockfosters Road on the 399 takes maybe 5-8 min depending on roadworks and passengers onboard. As it is my local route I do know from experience.

Im not sure about Gordon Hill, mainly because I don't see a need for it go go further whilst there is the W8 that takes to Gordon Hill From Chase Farm aswell Im not sure where a stand an be placed, the nearest stand is either at Chase Farm or all the way at Caterhatch.

Honestly, I think you can probably fit a bus stand at the Station. I decided to make it go to Gordon Hill because it would only really serve a stop or two in the residential areas before Chase Farm Hospital. Nonetheless I agree it isn't entirely necessary.

If the 88 still ran via Warren Street, I felt like an N88 would of been quite useful so like
Camden Town to Morden via current 88 to Clapham Town and then the N155 as of now to Morden.
Would of been a key interchange Northern/Victoria Line service and very handy in my opinion.

And what about the Trafalgar Sq - Stockwell parts of both routes are different so the N155 would be cut off at that end (unless there is little to no demand?)

Well the N88 would serve all the stops the N155 did except for Elephant & Castle, but with the N133 it might not be that much of a concern. But its just a fantasy anyway. They could just extend the N155 to Camden Town instead via the. 24 to Warren Street and then N5/N20 to Camden

Attachment DeletedOk new route: Willesden to Barnet operated by metroline either AC, EW or PB Willesden bus garage Neasden North circular road Staples corner Brent cross hendon central mill hill circus highwood hill totteridge and whetstone barnet Links willesden and neasden to hendon central, T&W and barnet, 113 routing which will be relatively fast, so the length is mitigated to an extent. But could also be an express route if its too long to be standard and you can extend to enfield.
