A lot of dissatisfaction with the verdict and the fact that nobody has been accountable and some surprise that the driver hasn't been prosecuted.

Last week I saw one of these trams at Bombardier Ilford depot. How did it get there? Can they be towed or use the normal National Rail network.

Services suspended between Lloyd Park and Addington Village reportedly due to a car/tram collision at Oaks Road.

LondonExplorer316 No. The National Rail Line is fenced off from the tram line. And even if there was a connection, the vehicles wold have to be diesel and lightweight, as the tram uses AC pantograph power, whilst the NR Birkbeck line uses DC third rail. The Tram network also has lower weight limits for infrastructure. No connection down the road at Beckenham Junction either

Are the destination display files being updated? Noticed that 2550 has destinations in the Johnston font, whilst the Variobahn I was on didn't

Another closure coming up:
Tramlink will be closed between Wimbledon and Therapia Lane from Monday 22nd August through to Wednesday 31st August. The closure will allow the replacement of 700 metres of track, and other works such as tram stop maintenance, fencing and drainage repairs, and removal of vegitation.
During the closure tram replacement buses will operate between Wimbledon and Waddon Marsh, calling at Morden Road, Belgrave Walk and all tram stops via Therapia Lane.
Trams will continue to operate between Therapia Lane and Elmers End, and between Therapia Lane and Beckenham Junction. The Croydon-New Addington service will operate normally.
******************************************
In the meantime, Tramlink staff represented by Unite are set to walk out on Friday 19th August - the same day as walkouts by London Underground Station staff and some RATP bus drivers. It is not clear how this will impact on tram services.
