Confirmed to begin on Saturday 31st October From Saturday 31 October route 383 will be extended from Woodside Park Station to Finchley Memorial Hospital.
Route 383 will be extended from Woodside Park Station via Woodside Park Road, Finchley High Road and Granville Road terminating at Finchley Memorial Hospital. The extended route will provide a link to Finchley Memorial Hospital, setting down and picking up in the hospital grounds close to the main entrance. The extension will also provide access to the various shops in North Finchley town centre.
Route 383 will continue to run every 30 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays only.
First bus from Barnet, The Spires will be at 0535 First bus from Finchley Memorial Hospital will be at 0601 (0600 Saturdays) Last bus from Barnet, The Spires will be at 1935 (1937 Saturdays) Last bus from Finchley Memorial Hospital will be at 2003 (2005 Saturdays)
Does anyone know where the exact location is by the entrance that buses stand as I notice the only suitable looking places are a drop off point and two separate ambulance bays? Answering my own question, it seems they placed on one of the sections that was formerly for ambulances only

Still waiting on the 214 to be extended back, but with the 205’s rerouting via Shoreditch and Liverpool Street I wonder if its needed now

Bus use in the City of London must have taken a big hit this year.

True but pretty sure someone said this on Withdrawn/new bus route thread but couldn't one of the 153, 214 or 271 extend through the 205's old route back round to Liverpool Street even though that will probably be overkill especially at a time like this where passenger numbers especially in Central London would be decreasing. And except for stand space which I talked about on that thread I don't know why there terminating the 214 there may as well just extend it properly to the Bus Station or another stand nearer where passengers can at least interchange or hop on to other routes.

I would actually love to see the 214 extended to Whitechapel but via the ex-205 routing as you said, a Camden-Brick Lane would be very handy. Whitechapel may be far too long however so maybe Aldgate. would also be great as the 106 and 214 could share a stand at Whitechapel

Bus use in the City of London must have taken a big hit this year. This has always been rejected up until now as it could not be done within the current PVR - we can only guess but with the reduction in traffic especially around the city; this could possibly be done without any change to buses due to this.

The Heathrow free travel zone is being dropped. This starts in 2021 and then all buses later in the year will have to be paid for. Free inter-terminal transfers on TfL rail and the Piccadilly Line will still remain in place.

Free inter-terminal transfers on TfL rail and the Piccadilly Line will still remain in place. This makes sense, never saw why it was particularly necessary on buses because passengers who need inter-terminal transfers get a free bus regardless and the tube does it anyway.
