The Waterloo to Waterloo via Strawberry Hill charge the destination as it moves round the loop. Strawberry Hill and Richmond till it gets to Teddington then changes to Waterloo. Same with the through Central line trains from Woodford via Chigwell only show Hainault. ...and the same on Slade Green loop trains out of Cannon Street(?). Does it still occur with Thameslink on the Sutton/Wimbledon loop?

I notice according to LondonBusRoutes.net that route 507 and 521 are having their frequency restored to every 3-4 and every 2 respectively from next week.
I wonder if that's a tad early.

Early on what criteria? There is still a need for social distancing on public transport so the increased frequency will help with that. Also the Government is effectively subsidising UK bus operators to maintain their services at normal or near-normal levels whilst loadings are down. This funding will be in place until at least the end of March.

I can't speak for those two routes as I've not been in Central London or the city but I remember the talk regarding the X68 being empty and yet last Wednesday, the one that passed me at 17:55 had a very good load

Very much agree, the 521 especially I've suggested previously that SEe's from the 521 could be put to better use running peak hour extras on the 453 say between Trafalgar Square and New Cross?

Upcoming Timetable changes:
5th December 2020:
Routes Affected: 63, 120, 185, 192, 226, 245, 260, 360, 363, 460, 507, P5, P12, R7 and S4
Route 63 will have a new timetable on all days with revised journey times to better reflect traffic conditions along the route.
A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 120 until further notice due to various roadworks in the Southall area. The frequency will be widened to 10 minutes during the AM & PM Peak on Monday to Fridays, every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 13 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 16 minutes during the evening on all days of the week.
The temporary timetable on route 185 will be removed with the frequency of the service restored to run every 8 minutes during the AM peak, midday and PM peak periods on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Saturdays and to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.
Route 192 will have a new timetable on all days with revised journey times to better reflect traffic conditions along the route.
A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 226 until March 2021 due to roadworks in Cricklewood. The frequency will be widened to 13 minutes during the AM peak, midday and PM peak periods on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Saturdays and to every 21 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and the evening on all days of the week.

Route R7 will be operated by Go Ahead London from this date with no change to the current timetable.

The curtailment of route 28 to Westbourne Park Bus Garage will finish following completion of safety improvement works on Harrow Road with buses returning to running between Kensal Rise Station and Wandsworth Town Centre.
The temporary timetable on route 49 will be removed with the frequency of the service restored to run every 7-8 minutes during the PM peak period on Monday to Fridays and during the afternoon on Saturdays.
The temporary timetable on route 56 will be removed with the frequency of the service restored to run every 6-7 minutes during the AM peak, midday and PM peak periods on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Saturdays.

From Saturday 12 December route 216 will pick up from bus stop 4 in Staines Bus Station. There will be no change to the timetable of route 216.
Route Change at Tottenham Court Road:
Routes Affected: 19, 38, N19, N38 and N41
From Saturday 12 December routes 19, 38, N19, N38 and N41 will be rerouted southbound only via New Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road instead of via St Giles High Street.
Buses on routes 19, 38, N19, N38 and N41 will serve stop X on New Oxford Street providing better interchange with other bus services in the area and to Tottenham Court Road Station.
There will be no change to the frequency of routes 19, 38, N19, N38 and N41.
19th December 2020:
Routes Affected: 272, 440, E3 and H91
The temporary timetable on route 272 will be removed with the frequency of the service restored to run every 15 minutes during the AM, Daytime and PM peak periods on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Saturdays.
The temporary timetable on route 440 will be removed with the frequency of the service restored to run every 15 minutes during the AM, Daytime and PM peak periods on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Saturdays.

Yes, people do use these and pre Covid, these two routes were busy especially the 521 in the peaks which is why it has a big frequency. Obviously, Covid has had an impact on the City & its office workers but until we're in a post Covid world which looks to be sooner than we expected (fingers crossed), it's no good cutting things and I say that for any route be it the ones in my area that have been cut of your experience with the 384. If the office workers don't return, I suspect the 521 will receive some sort of cut but the 507 may survive as it has other uses outside of commuters.

Waterloo & City Line was suspended at the start of the pandemic and has not yet resumed. 38 had a frequency reduction in October which shaved ten vehicles off its PVR.

Very glad that the 19 and 38 are being rerouted, it was very confusing before, since they all take odd different routes from Holborn. The 1 and 8 go via High Holborn and the 98 goes via Holborn Circus? The 19 and 38 go via S’t Giles and the 55 idek?
But it means switching onto the 98 will be easier now west of Tottenham Court Road instead of walking to Primark Tottenham Court Road to catch the 98
