I agree with this, though would suggest to additionally merge with the 419 - going from Richmond to Wandsworth Riverside via Barnes Bridge, Castelnau, Putney Common and East Putney. The Roehampton section of the 419 could be replaced by rerouteing the 265 to Castelnau. Then restore the 72 to Roehampton via the N72, replacing the 265 section via Putney Common. And doing that cuts journeys made on the 265 south of Roehampton ASDA. The 85 would continue links from Putney as far as Kingston Vale, plus the hopper fare for any journeys towards Tolworth.

Not sure about sending the 72 via the N72. It will parallel with the 220 even more and end up sitting in all the traffic on Putney Bridge, Fulham Palace Road etc Well the 220 could do with assistance. The 72 if it was double decked and went to Roehampton via the N72 would be a welcome relief for the 220. Divert 430 to Hammersmith and extend 190 to South Kensington. Far cheaper and uses up excess capacity on Fulham Palace Road.

Looks like latest LSP has a new Ensignbus service on Sunday mornings from Woolwich Arsenal DLR to Dartford It is to be numbered Z3 (I believe they already operate a Z1 and Z2) athough the Z3 appears to be a public service) consultations.tfl.gov.uk/lsp/dc73d6e0/Oddly having announced a new consultation website, TfL have decided to put this in the old one, so won’t find it in the consultation menu. Clearly another example of TfL right hand doesn’t know what left hand is doing due to weak management.

London bus routes has now pushed the date back for the Victoria bus stop changes (stop changes and reversion to previous routings/stops etc) to July 2022. Not quite sure why they are constantly pushed back though I'm sure eventually a piazza will be installed outside the station and the bus station severely reduced.

Is there actually a reason why this change keeps getting pushed? The 2 and 36 both got restored so I'm not sure why the others aren't being restored.

Although the amount of times I’ve seen it on a Sunday, pretty sure that there was more than one service each Sunday. Regarding TfL…weak management or just the inevitable decline when making so many cuts to back office staff?

Not been to Victoria for a while but I think that new development has closed Allington Street permanently. So unless there are plans for a contraflow that would require quite significant work to the busy traffic island where 'Little Ben' is, I'm not sure how this resolves itself.

Tfl Bus changes has been updated From 5th July (2 days after new contract starts), route 65 gets a frequency increase weekday am peak From Monday 5 July we will be running more buses towards Kingston from Ealing Broadway on route 65 in the AM Peak on Monday to Fridays. Buses will be timed to pass Richmond Station every 5 minutes towards Kingston between 0730 and 0830 instead of the current 6-minute service that we provide at this time. There will be no change to the route or stops on route 65 and buses will continue to run every 6 minutes during the daytime and PM peak in both directions on Monday to Fridays as well as in the AM peak towards Ealing Broadway. On Saturdays buses will continue to run every 6 minutes during the daytime. The daytime service on Sundays and during the evening on all days of the week will continue to run at a frequency of a bus every 10 minutes. Route N65 will continue to provide a bus service every 30 minutes on every night of the week between Ealing Broadway, Kingston and Chessington serving all bus stops used by routes 65 and 71. tfl.gov.uk/modes/buses/bus-changesUnless I am misreading this it means weekdays 07:30 - 08:30 will be 12 buses per hour heading southbound, but only 10 per hour heading northbound, so presumably extra buses will need to be sent empty to Ealing

If I’m not mistaken the 65 had a +3 increase back in 2016 as well. Very good to see the route doing well.

The x30mins train service between Richmond and Kingston is not very competitive. If the E1 extension to Osterley goes ahead then the South Ealing corridor will be very well served.

It helps that it's entire route is within Outer London boroughs who get the benefits of any increases.
