Last week was at Hatton Cross and a terminating train arrived westbound into platform 1 departed shortly after to Arnos Grove. I think that’s very rare, having a PL turned short at Hatton Cross. Whenever the Picc is disrupted badly one always turns up! Hounslow Central is the rare one, along with Hammersmith...

During yesterday morning's disruptions on the Met, I had a "Fast" Wembley Park on the SB at Harrow. Cannot recall ever seeing that before.

Also, after an absence in 2017, poppies have reappeared on DM front cab doors.

It was in the budget. Sounds like the plan is to build new sidings near Beckton depot and raft over them to allow development. It might include a spur to new station alongside. The new sidings will allow full length trains (3 car equivalent) to be maintained (without splitting them). Will effectively end up with a 11000 home (?) housing estate with a railway yard in the basement. All aimed at extra housing on those 1960s wastelands that used to be part of London docks.

The Chancellor did mention in the budget that the DLR is to receive funding for new infrastructure including new trains so probably this is reliable.

The Piccadilly Line appears to be suspended between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge but TfL don't want to admit it? Looks like leaf fall is beginning to bite again.

This is mitigation being done to prevent more trains being taken out of service to wheel flats and there is a speed restriction in place between Acton Town and Rayners Lane as well.S stock on the MET doesn't get the problems with wheel flats as such so they are providing the Rayners Lane - Uxbridge service.

Yes TfL are in denial, their own website has Piccadilly showing as good service, even though it is effectively part suspended I have heard (but might be rumour) that the wheel lathe at Northfields isn’t (or wasn’t) Operational this week

The depot in Beckton is being expanded to allow for the new longer trains due 2021-22ish, works starting next year I believe. The redevelopment will also allow for a possible "cover" in the future, one thing that has been suggested is a bus depot on top of the DLR depot. plans have also been completed to facilitate possible future extensions towards Dagenham and Thamesmead. The new station will be Thames Wharf which will be located on the viaduct by the Skip lorry yard.

Where I have heard that before? If Bozo Boris hadn't cancelled the old plans it could have been in service for over 5 years by now.

Future extensions also depend on what happens with HS2 as there's still the possibility of the DLR pushing further west.
