The new round the corner link will be useful although it could just as easily be provided by the 155 or 333 so it still doesn't justify the 415, I assumed the idea of an N415 was a joke? Brixton Road residents (Camberwell New Road to Stockwell Park Walk) would then miss out on the link to Old Kent Rd. That section of Brixton Road has lost good bus links in it's time; 109 to Croydon, 333 to Tooting Broadway, etc . It's good that residential area's gaining something half decent. In any case there is nothing stopping the 155 from being rerouted to Old Kent Rd in future, upon contract renewal for example. EDIT: and to agree with VJ's reply (which I noticed up just before mine), it gives those residents a direct link to another set of retails.

I suspect you will also find a fair few people using it between the two stops at Elephant which isn't exactly an easy journey on foot if you want to get from the Tabernacle side stops to the southbound New Kent Road stops. Although I agree regarding Brixton Road losing it's link to Tooting Broadway, there was a much bigger need to establish a link from Brixton Hill to Stockwell which was wanted by locals for many years rather than changing buses in Brixton.

The 415 is dead and should provide the extra capacity needed and probably very popular for the local. Brixton Road residents (Camberwell New Road to Stockwell Park Walk) would then miss out on the link to Old Kent Rd. It would be great if the 415 could be extendes to New Cross Gate, Sainsbury's. But there's always so much traffic on the A2

The Old Kent Road: Tesco terminus also leaves possibilities of another short, unique, round the corner link via Rotherhithe new Road and South Bermondsey to Surrey Quays. This would somewhat re-establish a link from there to the south west London area (parallel link lost by the cut back of the P13 in 2004).
