He's been suspended, not sacked LOL. If they have any sense, the BBC will keep him on the show.

As a MASSIVE Top Gear fan I am sad to hear the news of Jezzas suspension, and more to the point that the series has been postponed with three weeks to go Hopefully this suspension will "teach him a lesson" and be a bit less 'hard' with his offensiveness. While I think he takes stuff too far at least he's honest about what he thinks.

All I can say is I hope it's resolved because Top Gear just wouldn't be the same without Clarkson. This may offend people but I find him utterly funny.

Even if he gets restricted like the ex Brixton DWs on the 466, he won't learn his lesson, though he's thoroughly funny Can't see him tiptoeing past usual jibes for long if they let him off the hook. They can't justify the license fee without Top Gear. And I've just gone and renewed mine. Dammit

I can see people not paying their license fee if Jeremy goes as a protest. On the other hand, Jeremy cannot go on thinking he is the show (which he is). They should have finished the series and then done something. I was surprised this series was 10 episodes long, which is unusual, but I guess its another short series now.

Who cares? I mean really? He's a millionnaire and probably doesn't give a toss. It's a show loosely about cars that's well past its sell by date despite its popularity. Far more important things in the world like the price of milk. 89p for a 4 pint of milk at Iceland lol.

Like warm milk in my local Tesco Metro's fridge, it's surprising how quickly things have turned sour for the poor chap... and the way the papers keep hounding him and watching his every move is just too much

As a Top Gear fan as well if the media are correct in saying he slapped or punched a producer then i can see him getting the sack. Rumours at the moment ITV are interested in getting Clarkson for a car show....

I was at the filming of last weeks episode (filmed last Wednesday, aired on Sunday) not knowing I was in the audience for what could be the last Top Gear ever presented by Jezza!!
I hope he's not dropped though... I doubt Hammond and May would continue without him!!

Jeremy Clarkson is an idiot but the show wouldn't be the same without him. The allegations haven't been confirmed but if they are then he's screwed. I just hope that the last few episodes are shown, with or without him.

Yes and if Jeremy does get the boot or decides to resign then i can see all 3 of the Top Gear presenters going over to another channel doing the same thing but no doubt under a different name. This week's episode looked quite good, i prefer the episodes where they do challenges/funny things rather than car reviews but thats my opinion
