Don’t believe I’ve seen anything like this before but T120 on route 250 has its front destination blind showing West Croydon the wrong way up. Whoever fitted that destination blind deserves a medal Also seeing many 250's still showing Croydon, Town Centre as well.

Still see many Town Centre blinds but seems to have improved with a fair few more now showing West Croydon Probably Brixton and Croydon Town Centre are next to each other on the blinds ... West Croydon may be miles away and require lots of winding. All THs Ts are manual blinds ... no such luxuries as smart blinds there. And if we are honest West Croydon Bus Station is just as much Town Centre as some of the other stands that use that description. My definition of Croydon Town Centre would be Whitgift Centre .. so West Croydon is closer than Katherine Street. This will always be an issue when such vague descriptions of termini is allowed.

Which is why Croydon, Town Centre as a blind is a joke in itself as we had the correct destination blinds before it was introduced.

I have noticed this in Brixton many showing Croydon Town Centre, but if someone puts in a complaint the driver is at fault. So all buses should show West Croydon. DW423 & DW424 I Notice this a lot however these blinds are an exact copy of the 2018 smart blinds which lists the destinations in block of route in chronological order rather than traditional manual blinds, Thamesmead & Bromley North are quite far in the 20s from Bexleyheath, Shopping Centre which is 7, I’ve seen Bexleyheath Library & Bexleyheath, Bus Garage showing as shortcuts. Whenever I get either of these two DWs are on any route the correct blinds will be showing regardless of how many times I have to wind the blinds. I don’t like Manual blinds but doesn’t mean I shouldn’t display the correct thing. On the 99 it always has the correct destinations because Woolwich is 1 & Bexleyheath is 7.

Those Bexleyheath destinations are very specific ... my argument is Croydon Town Centre as it is so generic, is it technically wrong ... if you go by my definition of it as Whitgift Centre, to use it for West Croydon Bus Station in comparison to other stands people seem happy to use it for? If we had specific Croydon destinations as Fairfield Halls, Park St etc, in a similar manner to your Bexleyheath blinds... then yes it would be wrong

It’s better than just plain Brixton.

It’s better than just plain Brixton. Croydon Town Centre suggests it’s terminating at the town centre - Fairfield Halls, Katherine Street & Flyover are not in the centre and are on the edge of town whilst I’d argue West Croydon falls into the same category although at least it kept its correct blind. If anything, plain Croydon is technically more correct even though it’s equally as vague and useless.
