Interesting that they mention future proofing a Crystal Palace extension at the very beginning but then it's not shown in the proposals section at all. Yet the Sutton extension was mentioned in both sections.

It would be great if they could double track the tram between Reeves Corner and Wandle Park although I can't see how they can do it unless they would makes big changes to traffic including buses which run from Reeves Corner going underneath the Roman Way Flyover (Cairo New Road) towards Waddon New Road.
Also, I do hope they increase the frequency of the evening services soon. There have been times when I have struggled to get on the tram even at around 8pm. I do recall passengers struggling to get on the trams form East Croydon in the early mornings. The last time I couldn't get on a tram due to crowding issues was when they had the trouble with the illegal rave in the Post Office in Croydon.

Any public transport proposals that include Bromley Council should be taken with a pinch of salt because of the regressive old men in charge there.

Nice to hear that the Wimbledon branch will have upto 12 trams pre hour from next year. I like to see then increase the Wimbledon branch in the evenings. I didn't realise they will introduce another loop in the west of the town centre. Initial thoughts is the proposed loop on the west side will turn around just before Centrale tram stop

But its not just the tram that causing the problems there but also traffic coming out of Dorset Road and turning right onto Kingston Road, and because of the box junction there are always opportunities for drivers to come out of Dorset Road and block the junction. There's been a few times when I seen the 163 and 164 come out of Hatfield Road and then having to wait along Kingston Road because of the traffic coming out of Dorset Road. I reckon they should ban the right turn there and force traffic to go along the other side streets. You do get a few cyclists along Kingston Road as well, and also the road is not the biggest so its always a struggle to get past the cyclists in that area.

When you stop by the box junction opposite Dorset Rd, drivers think you're letting them out, and then we have the dog chasing its tail. Dorset Road is a rat run to avoid the lights O/S Sth Wimbledon Stn. I'd make the Dorset Rd junction 'Left turn only' I suppose it's all historical in a sense. No one thought the Merton Park branch would ever be used again, plus the increase in car ownership. Ho hum

Also nice to see the intention of Wimbledon going back to Beckenham and Elmers End but wonder what this will do to the link of South West London in Wimbledon to New Addington which doesn't have good transport links and I see it as a long train for them however though there frequency will get improved however I remember at the beginning the residents of New Addington (as they always do) were orignally complaining about them losing there loop so will be interesting to see their reaction but they may of became used to this. Also I rememeber weirdly waiting at Arena in the morning peak and a tram to Wimbledon came not a bandit blind was actually in sevice with the driver making announcement for whatever reason as I didn't know this could of happened. But anyways a lot of people actually stayed on the tram. In a fantasy I would like to see a mix and match of both services however though this will confuse passengers.

I agree with you as Tramlink is to me quite weird in how it operate its minutes as in peak it can be 2 trams in 5 minutes going to the same destination however in night it can be 25 minutes, I understand the reason why for this but the gap shouldn't be that big. Also if they do double track the roads at Cairo New Road and make it exclusive for trams and make a stop on the other side not sure if that's even possible due to space then how are they going to get passengers to the Jubilee Car Park as the other way is going through Waddon and people needing to go to Church etc. behind Reeves Corner, I think this will led to buses being diverted through Flyover then Old Town then back to their normal routes.
