Well I passed my module 4 driver cpc test, Just need to pass my test on Thursday, Should be iBus and Type Training on Friday, Route learning (not that I need it  ) on Monday Nicely done. Oh and whether you *need* route learning or not you "need" route learning. Basically the route learning is teach you not only the route but the turning and curtailment points - yes there is a difference. Unless of course you know those too.... In which case, enjoy a few easy days before reality sets in!! |

This must be a dream come true for you! Maybe you can change your member name handle to 17397!!! Not really a dream but something I wanted to do at some point, it is a bit surreal that I should be in service by Tuesday! 17397 was a pig of a bus to drive, doesn't deserve to be my handle and there was a quite annoying issue with the Pilot valve for the steering column getting blocked up meaning you couldn't adjust it without dumping the air and building it up again and something else I can't mention. All in all from start to finish everyone at the company has been great and helpful, The instructors are great and really know what they are doing, They are great at explaining different approaches to situations and they aren't just sitting there telling you what to do, it's like they are people you have known for ages, you could be talking away about something but they are still on the ball taking note of every mistake and mirror check you don't make! |

A few weeks?? I was buddying a driver at Bow who threw shuffling the steering wheel out the window on his first day in service  To be fair to the guy, his baptism of fire was a 205! |

It was intended as a joke. However a polish driver on the 364's did run over a groups of chav's dog and got dragged out of the bus and giving a good beating for it. Did him a favour though as he no longer had to drive 364's. The Hard part is stopping and opening those doors and having everyone and their dog out to lose you your job. Possibly SOH failure on my part; how would a dog cause you to lose your job? |
