London Underground: Long-running weekend Night Tube strikes called offLong-running weekend strikes on London's Night Tube have been suspended after the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union accepted a concession from London Underground about rotas.www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-62251696 After the colossal mess with the Central line yesterday, I wonder if that had any part to play with the concession today. Mind you, it's more bad PR for TfL if you have a Night Tube service but there's a train every 30 mins, every weekend because of strikes.

Piccadilly Line Night Tube services are restored from tonight, Friday 29th July. With the RMT Night Tube industrial action now suspended, this means that the full Night Tube service will be in operation on the Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Piccadilly Line Night Tube services operate between Cockfosters and Heathrow Terminal 5, there is no night service on the Rayners Lane & Uxbridge branch. The 132 & 486 (N21/N89 followers), H37, E1, H32, 307, 154 and W3 were all in the bottom 10 from 2017-2020 as far as usage is concerned. The 114, 296, 319, and W7 were all in the bottom 10 at one point but not consistently.

I thought night tube connection at Morden aside I thought it would have hooked in a few clubbers from Croydon back to Wallington and Sutton.

I believe Joe & Jenny Public round those parts of Sutton in particular fell out of love with the 154N due to it not being 24/7. It's surprising given the 154 was the most used weekend night route in the first year of the scheme's operation (2015/16), especially when the Northern line Night Tube started 3 months over a year after the 154N went live.

The 132 is surprising as it’s consistently busy most of the day (including the late night ones which at least pre covid used to be quite busy). I remember having done my 132 end to end sitting on the back row as that was the only window seat available

Perhaps the 132N could've covered the 286 to Sidcup instead and given a night service to QMH and serve unserved roads.
