From 18th January, an amended timetable will be in operation on the GTR network due to the lockdown. The following services are being affected:
Southern London Bridge - Beckenham Junction: Will not run - tickets accepted on London Tramlink and Southeastern Services. London Bridge - Caterham/Tattenham Corner: Fast service (1Pxx headcoded services) will not run, this will be replaced by a shuttle service between Purley and Caterham/Tattenham Corner. 2Jxx Caterham to London Bridge (via Tulse Hill) and 2Txx (Coulsdon Town to London Bridge) services will still run as planned. However, there will be a reduced service between East Croydon and London Bridge.
Thameslink Horsham - Peterborough: Reduced to an hourly service.
Great Northern London Kings Cross - Ely/Kings Lynn: Reduced to an hourly service between Kings Cross and Kings Lynn
Further information can be found on the Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern websites.

There will be a large number of weekend closures between Victoria and East Croydon later in the year, as well as the coming weekends of 13/14 February and 20/21 February. So far closures on all weekends in May (including the two public holiday Mondays) and the first weekend in June have been confirmed. Most trains will be diverted to London Bridge. A limited rail replacement bus service will operate between East Croydon and Clapham Junction for local journeys. There will also be two nine-day closures over Christmas and New Year 2021/2022 and 2022/2023. During the work all signalling in the area will be switched over to the Three Bridges area signal control centre. All signalling in the Clapham Junction and Balham area will be replaced and several key junctions will also be replaced to increase resilience and line speeds. New turnback facilities will be installed at Clapham Junction and Balham, which will allow more trains to operate during engineering works and to help service recovery during periods of disruption. It’s been confirmed that the remaining Class 365’s will leave GTR from the May timetable change. They will be replaced initially by Gatwick Express Class 387’s made spare by the current reduction in air traffic and the Gatwick Upgrade project, providing that the peak diagrams that the 365’s used to work are reintroduced this summer. A decision is yet to be made on long term replacements for the 365 once the 387’s return to GatEx.

The first GatEx 387/2 to go on loan to Great Northern to temporarily replace the Class 365’s, 387201 has now transferred to Hornsey Depot in preparation for the May timetable change. I believe six GatEx units are due to be transferring in total, so should be 387201-387206
