I have heard from late next week aim is to have just class 710s on Goblin
Probably going to be a watch this space, as to when actually happens, but I assume that means 7th or 8th train must be close to being ready.
There will eventually be 17 dual voltage sets (3 will have third rail de-icing equipment) of which 10 are for Goblin and 7 for Watford Line.
Not yet sure when the 4 trains per hour Watford service starts, (replacing the temporary unevenly spaced 3 per hour), but presumably the 3 shortened 378s must be starting to become available, although they will need to return to 5 cars before the 378 refurb Programme can restart.

The sooner we get 4tph on the Watford line the better. It’s still beyond me why each day has a different train missing from the timetable (from WJ weekdays it’s the 01, saturdays it’s the 48 and sundays it’s the 18). This inconsistency has caused so much confusion for people I know who use the line, myself included.

Free travel update From Saturday 31 Aug to Tue 1 Oct (30 days as decided to close line on 28-29 Sept during free period) the refunds will only be made automatically to pay as you go and weekly oyster and contactless Sounds like holders of monthly (or longer) oyster, and paper ticket holders will have a right faff claiming refunds, as either need to claim via contact centre, or create online accounts to claim. Appears if Goblin is only part of your journey could get messy as you might be renewing a monthly travelcard at a station elsewhere, but are entitled to an automatic refund on the Goblin part of the monthly travelcard, absolutely no idea how this will work, especially if Goblin is mid journey and never touch in/out at a Goblin station.

Hopefully they'll start being introduced on the West Anglia lines and the Romford to Upminster line shortly.
