There are definitely some concerns in this proposal - one of which is the suggestion that the A1010 could see reduced demand and this for me could be the end for the 349, it's IMO been on a tight string since it's cutback from Stoke Newington but definitely capacity will be missed north of Edmonton. This is another one of TFLs ways like with the Uxbridge Road to move people onto the train and I think by the sounds of the Woodbury Down development the 259/279 sound pretty safe.
Another concern for me is the W3, this will make the route problematic if extended to Meridian Water, Harbet Road as that junction can get very bunged up in the peaks when the North Circular goes under and the route would suffer, especially at the southern end where that, the 210 and the W7 can leave with extremely full loads and need reliable routes to roll off the stands. I think this would not be a good idea but having said that Angel Road Superstores may be reasonable.
The worst one has got to be the W11, I don't know how that will be done. Will a double run be done round Chingford Hill Estate as its not clear on the diagram? For a route designed to specifically link the Chingford Hall Estate and Blackhorse Road area into Walthamstow Central I think this will be a complete mess, the route will almost be a circle and I would not be surprised to see the route fall into the congestion problem on the A406. Harbet Road isn't two way also just because the proposal said. I would worry Chingford Hall & Blackhorse Road would likely end up with a less reliable service.
Said my piece on what would be the LV1/2, don't understand their purposes and if one had to be added it would probably be the LV1 if it was me. Pretty ironic coming from TFL though
The way TFL estimated the transfer onto the train from busses is rather shocking, The corridor from Tottenham to Waltham Cross via Edmonton, Ponders End and Enfield Lock has a very high proportion of people from low income backgrounds as they tend to take the bus than pay for expensive rail fares for money savings. Shouldn't have an assumption everyone will be fine It is FORCING people to use the train. The same they have pretty much done in East London over the years with Jubilee Line extention, Central Line, Victoria line, London Overground and now TfL rail.

If the 258 were to be cut back to Bushey Heath, as proposed in the Harrow bus study, I wonder what the stand arrangements would be?
There is an official TFL stand marked by St Peters Close, but buses curtailed to Bushey Heath tend not to use it.
Currently, if a 142 or 258 has a short working there, buses use a stop on Elstree Road to stand. On approach, drivers either terminate further back at the Windmill Lane stop, or allow passengers to alight at Elstree Road. This bus stop is currently not served by any timetabled buses, but the stop and shelter remain (the predecessor to Sullivan's 306 used to do a double run here).
Unexpectedly, there is also another TFL bus stand nearby on The Rutts (near the Windmill Lane stops) - there is a flag sign but no markings on the road surface. However, The Rutts is quite a narrow road with some low trees - I'm not sure that DDs would even fit along it.

Assuming this is around the three crowns, its a disgrace if either buses get curtailed at bushey. I dont see how it turns unless it goes up to bushey station or uses elstree and heathbourne road. IMo Bushey is an awkward place for 258 to stop as could just be extended to E&B or keep routing to watford personally. Maybe hinting at a southern extension.

The proposal was part of TFL's Harrow bus study - so yet to reach consultation stage - and did involve a southern extension, merging with the H17 routeing to Wembley Central (and 395 diverted to cover South Harrow link). I don't think this is a good idea, but was just speculating on what the stand arrangements would be if it were to go ahead. Not only would it break links, but also put more pressure on the unreliable 142 at the Watford end. Routes 142 & 258 do frequently see curtailments to Bushey Heath from the south - these involve turning around at the junction with Elstree Road, so quite simple as a terminus. However, this is quite a tight turn, so might restrict longer DDs from being used in the future, such as 10.9m BCEs.

384 Post-implementation review
It suggests many ideas such as rerouting the 383 at the northern end, merging the 389/399 and rerouting the 384. However none are deemed cost-effective and so will not be proceeded with. The only things that could happen are that journeys are retimed to meet trains at New Barnet. The 384 could also be retendered with 8.9m buses, so presumably electric Metrocities will be needed, like on the 322.

Latest I hear the Meridian Water bus review has been postponed, was initially meant to be conducted in Autumn. Works are being put on hold due to prioritisation of works on the Inner and Central London bus network. Other works were conducted on Routes 24 and 603 as part of the recent Highgate review, but works on that has also been suspended from Inner and Central London works.

There are some huge changes planned for inner/central London over next 3 years from what I hear. Everything we've seen so far points to that, especially the 1/168 and 21/271 changes. I've heard (from generally good sources too) about a whole host more things planned too, fascinating times

Not too sure what the 24 will do, perhaps replace the 268 to Golders Green and the 268 diverted to Muswell Hill? Must say for a route that hardly moves that'll certainly hamper the 24, especially with Hampstead traffic if that's what the plan is.

That will justify something extreme like cutting the 24 back to Warren Street or something. They'll put a route like the 16 to Pimlico and tell everyone else to use the hopper fare. That's another route gone from Central London.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 16 sent to Fulham Broadway and the 11 diverted to Pimlico with perhaps the rest of 24 replaced by a extended 3?

All of those changes do sound insane but we all thought the 1 to Hampstead Heath was insane initially, eventually we might come round to it

It regularly takes just under a hour just to do the current 3, I’d be very surprised if the 24 from Trafalgar Square to Hampstead Heath is just 30 minutes. Similar length or not, we aren’t going to attract people to the network by bodging two routes together and forcing people to make changes they didn’t have to beforehand. It doesn’t have to be an unfortunate reality unless we choose it to be
