How much do the MHVs weigh? I have seen that they are 62 seated + 25 standees which is fair few less standees than on the Gemini versions which is why I ask. I can check tomorrow on the way to work, providing one passes by lol.

I tried out the MHVs on the 35 on Monday and I rather do like them.
With some operators ordering B5LH Gemini 3 after B5LH Gemini 3 after B5LH Gemini 3 ( ); as an enthusiast it's absolutely fantastic that Go-Ahead have been a bit more exciting with their orders! I guess it makes up for them getting rid of Scania buses ;D
Overall, they don't match the Enviro400H MMC (nor the B5LH Enviro400 MMC) in looks, interior or in ride quality, but they come close. They do have that Plaxton President vibe too, I totally see it. Think the buses need some more opening windows overall. The buses don't seem to have rear-door closing sounds either, strangely enough.
That bell. Does it really need to sound for four seconds?
Sadly, the seats are a huge disappointment; they're the same awful seats as the ones on AF's Gemini 2s. Can't we standardise the seats on Stagecoach and Abellio buses for all operators? However, we sat on the right front seats on the top deck - now those are comfortable.
Speaking of bumped heads, I bumped my head on the iBus screen when leaving the bus. I wasn't the only one that day who bumped their head on that bus either.
Hopefully Tower Transit will order them for their next 'New battery hybrid double-deck' tender win.
So, some very nice new buses on the 35 and 40 to replace the Abellio heaps that were previously on the route, though a ride on the 345 on a refurbished Enviro400 wasn't too bad. I guess all those buses needed was a little TLC.

I guess all those buses needed was a little TLC. I still recall the bell noises on Travel London/Abellios Caetanos that were, and still are regulars on the R70 (noth the standard long bell noise and the 'jazzy' version too). The bus I used on Saturday (MHV10) seemed to have a variation of the standard ADL rear door noise. The irony is that nearly all of Go-Aheads Gemini 2s, except the ones currently at AF have Lazzerinis (the name of the seat type used by Abellio and Stagecoach). Those seats ruined an otherwise very comfortable vehicle.

Why is everyone commenting on seats as if they were built by MCV.. I don't think anyone was insinuating that?
