I know we are all on the edge of our seats as it goes to the wire... Did anyone bother to go and vote? Or who do you think will win?

Everyone should vote given people have fought and died to give us and protect this right. [ sorry for the lecture but it is important ] I have no idea who will win. My only sense is that it might be closer than anyone has thus far predicted. I feel sorry for people in LB Barnet who've been mucked about by the cock up over electoral registers there.

The online polls suggest that Sadiq Khan is marginally in front of Goldsmith, however as we all know the final result could always be very different to what online polls have been suggesting.

I voted earlier today - I normally watch the coverage on the BBC later tonight but I'm not sure I'll have time to.

Your vote is incredibly important; I urge everyone to use theirs

The count in London doesn't start until tomorrow and it may be Friday evening / Sat morning before the results are known. Results for all the other elections are stretched over three days! I don't think there's any point in staying up late to watch it unless you're keen to know who will be Mayor of Liverpool.

I went earlier this evening, nice weather for a stroll Never sure how accurate those online polls are as I think they attract the younger tech generation more. I tend to think the older generation make more of an effort to get to polling station as they remember more about those who lost life fighting to maintain democracy from dictators like Hitler.

I doubt we'll see the swift removal of the NBFLs or the Cycle Lanes - it seems whoever takes over is keen to remove the legacy of the last guy

If you want to watch the results in London build up then the London Elects website is providing regular updates for the Mayoral, constituency and Londonwide votes. Although it's still early days there are some interesting emerging results - Labour seem to be beating the Tories in the SW constituency which is a shock. Many outer London constituencies are, predictably, voting for Zac Goldsmith (first preferences obviously) with Inner areas voting for Sadiq Khan. Obviously it can all change but it's interesting to see what electronic counting can do in terms of providing on line updates.

Must have done the boxes from certain areas first as now Tories are leading in SW London Appears Greens are third, with UKIP 4th, slightly ahead of Lib Dems. Be interesting to see how those votes transfer.

Kahn is still in the lead, Goldsmith 2nd, and Sian Berry 3rd.
Just the North East (Islington, Hackney, Waltham Forest) left to count.
