I haven't seen a confirmatory post elsewhere on the forum but TCR has gone two way today and bus services have been re-routed as expected (barring any protest related curtailments etc).

Yep took me by surprise today all seems to be running well with TfL staff on hand to assist people with bus stop and crossing changes. Also the top section of the controflow bus lane on Charing Cross Road is back open spotted a 14 using it.

It really did take me by surprise as I was more focused on the buses being diverted because of the demo.

All seems to be running fine, presumably the redundant bus shelters from Gower Street will be moved to the new southbound TCR stops at some point and the bus lane removed?
Are the 73 and 390 supposed to serve the very convenient stop right outside the main entrance to University College Hospital? No tiles for these routes although they all seemed to be stopping there.

I agree with others, the scheme seems to be implemented really well. The southbound bus stops make bus travel so much easier and faster along TCR. The stops are very conveniently located. It’s such a shame Crossfail has been delayed, as the TCR 2 way scheme would have complemented it nicely to get people to leave their cars at home at the weekend and in the evening. Anyhow, well done TfL for this scheme. Once the northern end of Charing Cross Road is reopened to buses, journeys through TCR will be speeded up drastically.

Went for a walk TCR at lunchtime — a bit congested it seems. Northbound traffic (cars/taxis etc) are still permitted northbound, am I right in assuming that Gower Street & Shaftesbury Avenue / Bloomsbury Street will follow later?
Also can vehicles turn right at Cambridge Circus yet? (From Charing X Road - Shaftesbury Ave)
