Since I haven't done a quiz in ages, I'd thought I will wrap your brains with this! By NLL I mean both the NLL Mainline and GOBLIN 1. On what date was Silvertown station opened? 2. Before the 28th September 2003, the last train from Barking was at what time? 3. Which of the 313 units running on the NLL is currently in Back The Bid livery? 4. At which station would you alight to visit Brooks Farm? 5. What was the name of the station that was demolished to make way for the A12 East Cross Route? 6. Opened as Green Lanes on 1st June 1880, this name was only to last three years before the station was renamed to be then known as.....? 7. Why was Camden Road (as it is now known) renamed on the 25th September 1950 8. "Bletchley Seven" is the name given to which of the 150s that run on the GOBLIN? 9. There are only two level crossing on the NLL system, one is on Churchfields Road just north of Acton Central Station, what road crosses the second? 0. Finally, which station is this? gallery22709.fotopic.net/p7602345.html

2. 2238 Mon - Sat; 2205 Sun. (any special relevance?) 5. I'll take a stab at Old Ford 6. HGL (as above) 7. If it was formerly Camden Town: to avoid confusion with Underground 9. No trace - possibly something on the North Woolwich portion ('Silvertown Tramway')? (By the way, the Acton level crossing is between Churchfield and East Churchfield Roads) 0. Brondesbury Park?

1.
2. Correct- I only wanted the Mon-Sat time of 2238 because on the 28th September 2003 (after months of discussions by the GOBLIN Users Group, which I am a member) the later 2314 ex Barking was added to the timetable (together with the corresponding 2236 ex Gospel Oak). Ironically in the current timetable, to give an even spread of evening trains the 2314 has been retimed to leave Barking at 2308 and the 2238 now doesn't run!
3.
4.
5. Incorrect- it wasn't Old Ford that was demolished to make way for the A12.
6. I'll give you this one. Green Lanes was renamed to Harringay Park, Green Lanes in 1883. However that name only lasted until June 1951 when the station was again renamed, this time to just plain Harringay Park. Seven years later (October 1958) another renaming this time to Harringay Stadium, the name coming from the nearby dog track of the same name. The dog track closed in 1990 and in May 1990 the name of the station was again changed to reflect the closure, the name chosen this time was Harringay East. The station got its present name (Harringay Green Lanes) a year later in May 1991!
7. Correct- Camden Road station was originally called Camden Town when opened on 8th Decmber 1870, but was renamed because of the proximity of Camden Town (LU) station on the Northern Line a few hundred metres down the road. So the NLL station was renamed to Camden Road to avoid confusion!
8.
9. There is indeed another level crossing on the NLL system, but not at the North Woolwich end of the line.
0. Nope, not Brondesbury Park. I see no overhead wires in the photo!
Correct answers still required for 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 0

Here is the full list of answers, for those of you who are eagerley waiting for them to be revealed!
1. Silvertown Station was opened on 19th June 1863
2. I only wanted the Mon-Sat time of 2238 because on the 28th September 2003 (after months of discussions by the GOBLIN Users Group, which I am a member) the later 2314 ex Barking was added to the timetable (together with the corresponding 2236 ex Gospel Oak). Ironically in the current timetable, to give an even spread of evening trains the 2314 has been retimed to leave Barking at 2308 and the 2238 now doesn't run!
3. Unit 313120 is currently in Back The Bid livery
4. Leyton Midland Road is the nearest station to Brooks Farm. The farm backs onto the line therefore you can see the farm when heading eastbound approaching Leyton Midland.
5. Victoria Park Station was demolished and the railway realigned to make way for the A12 East Cross Route, the station site now sits underneath the motorway and its slip roads.
7. Camden Road station was originally called Camden Town when opened on 8th Decmber 1870, but was renamed because of the proximity of Camden Town (LU) station on the Northern Lline va few hundred metres down the road. So the NLL station was renamed Camden Road to avoid confusion!
8. Unit 150123 is named Bletchley Seven. This was the last of Silverlink's seven 150s to be named, which are all allocated to Bletchley depot, thus that is where the name comes from.
9. Bollo Lane in Acton, this road also crosses the freight link between the NLL and the Hounslow loop just a few metres after the NLL crossing! This is in between South Acton and Gunnersbury stations.
0. Walthamstow Quuens Road, 150101 was hired by Silverlink when they found themselves short of the full compliment of Sprinters.
There you have it!
