Interested to know if any Bombardier deliveries are early/on-time...? I saw a train like this being towed at high speed near Shenfield yesterday morning, I do not know the class codes as it was going fast, just know it looked similar to this and the crossrail trains, but in Greater Anglia livery. One of those yellow freightliner type trains was toeing it

Interested to know if any Bombardier deliveries are early/on-time...? At a long shot, I think the latter Electrostars (379, 377/6, 377/7, and the 387s) might well have been the only ones on time. Happy to be corrected. With these 720s, we can but hope their introduction goes as smoothly as possible. Sadly the Stadlers have encountered a few teething troubles — exacerbated by, in a repeat of LO and the 172s, other franchises needing the 156 & 170s.

Greater Anglia introduced the first of their new cl.745s onto the Norwich to London Intercity service this morning.
Loads of pictures on GAs Twitter feed and Roger French's blogspot (busandtrainuser.com)

No. It's going up to Kilmarnock for PRM modifications.

2 Class 720/5 units are now at Ilford Depot. Testing should start very soon on the Southend Victoria line. 2 further 745s have been commissioned so they should join the other two in service shortly, GA are unlikely to replace the remaining Mk3 rakes before the deadline at the end of this month though.

Over half of GA's Class 720s were completed prior to Bombardier's enforced shutdown.
720509 has been running all around the Network in the last few days. It's certainly visited Ely, London, Cambridge, Clacton and Norwich. No gauging problems reported so far. It looks like the 22 x 10 car 720s are going to be built as 5 cars due to declining passenger numbers (even prior to Covid-19's arrival). 5 car units being easier to sub-lease too.
3 Yorkshire Class 321s are being delivered to Clacton to provide a little more cover for when the Class 360s go to East Midlands in August. Stansted Express 745/1s are starting to enter service on London-Norwich services, they will likely operate mostly on the GEML until Class 720s enter service.
Class 720s should start to enter squadron service towards the end of the summer (fingers crossed in so many ways of course).

Depending on the length of the lockdown it sounds like we really could be coming back to a brand new fleet on the WA and GEML lines. Very exciting! Are WA Line first for roll out of the 720 and then GEML?

Are WA Line first for roll out of the 720 and then GEML? As of 25/03/20 when Bombardier temporarily ceased production 43/111 units were completed (just under 40%), but. Not advised if 5 or 10 car. As of 01/04/20 GA still expecting 111 units (89x 5 car and 22x fixed 10 car). GE to get units 1st then WA. All info from internal GA communications.
