You would be breaking a number of links by doing this such as the round the corner link from Roehampton to Sheen which is the 419 doesnât do and from the Putney Heath area which no other route does either. I agree about the delays you mention but the 419 is no replacement. Personally, a temporary split of the route until the bridge is fixed might be a better solution - say something along the lines of Richmond to Wimbledon & Tooting to Putney Heath. Agree. Tooting to Richmond is far too long in present circumstances. Indeed it is, right now got East sheen, Queens road, Barnes Common and Wimbledon Stadium curtailments on the route. There was a Wimbledon and Wimbledon Village turn earlier as well.

How is the 419 extension to Roehampton loading? Seen several on Rocks Lane in Barnes, all with single figure loadings. However, not helped by the still rubbish blinding. Today I saw one that couldn't even show 419 on its blind just the RATP logo. Instead it said 419 kerbside and Roehampton under the steering wheel. Not exactly efficient.

Today I saw one that couldn't even show 419 on its blind just the RATP logo. Instead it said 419 kerbside and Roehampton under the steering wheel. Not exactly efficient. The banditry on the 419 is crazy. You would have thought RATP would've learnt their lesson from the Barnes Pond extension but apparently not.
I think familliarity may also be an issue. Many in Roehampton may not realise the 419 goes to the bridge so are just swarming the 72 but in time this should improve.

At least with the castelnau blinds you can see it before the bus gets to the stop, with the Roehampton blind is just a small notice at the front which is very difficult to see.

Not exactly efficient. It can take time to build up patronage, people will soon get familiar if they find it useful enough.

Should the route 72 from Hammersmith Bridge North Side to Hammersmith Bus Station (vice versa) be operated like âHeathrow Free Zone?â Because passengers maybe on the 33 or other routes before gets caught in traffic etc, walk across the bridge and itâs cold, wet, raining and final destination is Hammersmith Bus Station, so they jump on the 72 and doesnât realize they have been charge for this journey, I feel this is a little unfair

The timetable changes to the 22, 33 and 391 - which come into effect this Saturday - were announced almost three weeks ago along with changes for multiple other routes, but I wasn't aware that the 337's frequency is being cut too. Has this been announced publicly? There's nothing on the Permanent Bus Changes page, despite notice of the timetable changes for the other Putney/Hammersmith area routes being published there.

If the 391 is becoming every 13 minutes in peak hours, does that make it a low frequency route now as now under 5 buses per hour Of course it was already planned to become every 15 minutes from December (once it lost the Fulham-Hammersmith section to new 306)
