Was looking for the proposed 472 changes as this was just being discussed, but stumbled across this when scrolling down to the overview: Attachment DeletedSo TfL see this as grounds to go ahead with plans, with this such largely negative response. This is literally making steam come out of my ears. How high would the ‘opposed or strongly opposed’ percentage be for them to decide not to go ahead with it?!?!?! Unbelievable.

I don't know why you're surprised to be honest, they're not referendums and TfL don't have to take any notice of them. I very rarely bother to respond to them, what's the point?

I note with interest that the latest TLB is reporting that new route 304, and possibly other changes, will not go ahead in December this year. They will wait until Crossrail itself opens.

Don't mind the 104/304 and 301 going ahead early as they provide useful additions but please can the 25 be delayed.

It was the evening peak and took 2 hours 20 min from Oxford Circus to Ilford. Mainly due to the 30+ minutes it took to cross TCR from Oxford Circus... the rest of the way wasn’t bad at all

Stuck record on my part but it just seems pointless postponing the 104 /304 especially as its the start of a new contract ( I know other routes have had changes postponed before)
Even TfL admit the changes would benefit passengers :
Restructuring route 104 into two routes also creates local links to the nearby Elizabeth line station as well as other new or quicker connections e.g. the Lonsdale Avenue area to Beckton Bus Station and, on route 304, to Newham Hospital and education centres on Prince Regent lane and Custom House. However the proposal would break approximately 600 trips per day.
The restructured routes 104 and 300 would also provide additional capacity on key corridors into Custom House station, where demand is forecast to increase significantly.
Yes maybe the route won't carry many passengers to the terminus in Custom House at first but the same could be said about other route - the 325 springs to mind at Prince Regent.
I also wonder if the new blinds ordered by GAL contain blinds for the 104 in its current form in addition to the new 304.

Its introducing ipmrovements with out the associated efficencies ... money talks these days in TfL circles it seems

I notice the c london consultation dosent even ask if you oppose or agree just simply will your journey be affected and by how much without giving an option for each route just each group like 67, 149, 242.

For this reason and because of how TfL ignore tge results (as per the 25 consultation and many others), I’m not wasting my time filling it out. They have made their choice. People are better off writing directly to their MP’s, councils and London Assembly representative of they will suffer as a result of these cuts.

The consultation is an utter farce. We all know this is going ahead in its entirety regardless of what any bus users say. It will only be real political pain for the Mayor that will force any change of mind.

It's not the right answer, we all know that a consultation is just that, it's not a referendum, and some people seem to have trouble accepting the result of them but that's another subject. We all have a choice as to whether we reply to said consultation, personally I don't bother.
