But they aren’t going ahead - they’ve all got a prospective date of December but it’s certainly far from guaranteed. The West London changes are going ahead as that part of the line is to operate from December. Ah but they are going ahead, and a week before the line to Reading actually "opens" too! You've misread my post as I was referring to the changes in East & South East London as prospective and explicitly mentioned in the next sentence about the West London changes going ahead in December.

I don’t see any proposals to amend consultation proposals for route 218, where does it say that?

Why is the 218 that has single decks is more frequent than the 306 that has double deckers?

Why is the 218 that has single decks is more frequent than the 306 that has double deckers? I believe the 218 is restricted in the North Acton area so it cannot take DDs, there's also plenty of other examples where single decker routes are more frequent than double decker routes.

Why is the 218 that has single decks is more frequent than the 306 that has double deckers? The 306 stops short of a major objective/destination in Acton High Street. There is going to be lots of demand for Hammersmith-Acton travel even without the 266 so the 218 needs to be more frequent than the 306 as it will likely be busier, however the deckers on the 306 will help to soak up pressure, on the 218, and one must consider that the 391 is chronically overcrowded so deckers between Fulham and Hammersmith are needed.

Yes but frequencies don't make any sense. Where in the North Acton area is the restriction?

I'm an occasional user of the 266, and when I recently got on an overcrowded bus at Hammersmith the driver shouted, and I quote; ''What are you all going to do in six weeks* time when the 266 is cancelled and you have a single decker instead.'' Forgetting that he is incorrect as there will the 306 too, its a ridiculous change. I'm a proponent of sending the 306 up Horn Lane and to Wembley, with the 440 cut to Central Middlesex Hospital. *This was when there were six weeks to go until the change

The lower bus station has plenty of room now Hammersmith Bridge has closed so just have both routes pick up in the same place as the 266 does. It’s not rocket science lol it’s just so ridiculous 😂 Also the 218 will be running with smaller buses (ie SDs instead of DDs) and at 12 10 minutes compared to the 266’s 8 minutes. REALLY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yes but frequencies don't make any sense. Where in the North Acton area is the restriction? What do you mean, the 218 will run every 10 mins on Mon-Sat daytimes and is only marginally more frequent then the 306 which will run every 12 mins on Mon-Sat daytimes, Also the frequency of the both routes isn't as confusing as any routes with a 11/13 mins frequency or any other odd frequencys of which is a increasing trend on many routes across London over the last few years.
