Following the Northern Line's extension from Kennington to Battersea (to serve new developments), I wonder if a similar short extension could be feasible for the Victoria line? This could serve new developments around Meridian Water (& other nearby areas around the Lee Valley). Much of the infrastructure already exists - tracks on the Victoria Line already go as far as Northumberland Park for the depot, so only a short section would need to be added to reach Meridian Water.
A Victoria Line extension would be much more appropriate in serving the developments than the current Greater Anglia service. The station is currently only served by 2tph off peak, and requires passengers to change at Tottenham Hale or Stratford to reach central London.

I'd quite like to see the Victoria line extended from Walthamstow and extended alongside the Central line Epping branch, joining at South Woodford with one station inbetween at Wood Street (underground), with tunnels surfacing just south of South Woodford. Not sure how realistic this is.

The station is currently only served by 2tph off peak, and requires passengers to change at Tottenham Hale or Stratford to reach central London. Much of the traffic and provision for a Victoria Line extension is rather limited to the depot trains. There were proposals to extend the line to Northumberland Park in the 2000s to support the redevelopment of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but was only to be a shuttle service from Seven Sisters to Northumberland Park due to the single track it was going to use aswell the limited space from the depot preventing a two track operation. The idea had a weak business case and the politicians and developers were more appealed to the idea of Crossrail 2. Land is more limited currently with the third track added onto the WAML to Meridian Water and a provision for a 4th track for a later date. I don't think the Victoria Line will reach the Lea Valley developments. Network Rail are already developing plans for 4 tracking the WAML with a upgrade to 6tbh for metro services as an alternative to Crossrail 2. Aswell enchantments to the bus network towards Tottenham Hale will connect to the Victoria Line for Central London links.

This is more of a fantasy idea but I'd quite like the Northern line to extend to Roehampton, maybe calling at Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Town, Putney Heath and Roehampton with new stations being built at the latter two. This would provide a tube where no tube calls at. Not sure if there would be enough demand at Roehampton to justify a tube extension there, while Putney and Wandsworth already have frequent SWR services (plus the District line at Putney). Although a line to Roehampton could be made more useful if continued to Kingston - which is a large and busy town centre, offering a more frequent and direct connection into central London. Ideally, I think the Northern Line extension needs to just go to Clapham Junction - where the route has been safeguarded. This isn't much further than the Battersea terminus, but would offer improved interchange opportunities at Clapham beyond Victoria/Waterloo. Clapham Junction would likely attract a lot of passengers as the first stop, so continuing beyond Clapham could cause a lot of overcrowding. However, I don't think an extension from Battersea to Clapham Junction should go ahead until upgraded are carried out on the Northern Line and additional trains ordered or made available - in order to provide the sufficient frequency that would be needed there. Adding to that Wandsworth would likely need more bus routes starting from there (towards Tooting, Wimbledon, Putney, etc) so as to better cater for the offloads from the tube. Clapham Junction on the other hand would require minimal changes as the routes that terminate there are from more multiple directions.

We're almost approaching September so not too long to wait until the Battersea extension opens. A reliable source mentions Sunday September 19th as the provisional date.

Great news about the extension opening later this month. Mind you, had it opened by the August Bank Holiday, and BYDs already been in service on route 319 by then, I probably would have done a combined Notting Hill & Crystal Palace trip then.

So, the signs have now gone through a few changes, as no one is proofreading them before installing them. First the new stations were the wrong way around (), and now the word order for Battersea Power Station is incorrect! (/photo/4) Such a waste of taxpayers money. Creating new signs/vinyls only for them to be replaced because no one could do a simple proofread beforehand

Do not like this map for a few reasons: - Vauxhall looks really messy. It should be near to the river. - Thameslink is not TfL and Should Not Be On The Tube Map. - Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms should be Boundary Zones 1 and 2 like Vauxhall and Kennington. It would look so much better. - Moorgate looks terrible. They've botched it up real time.

Certainly agree regarding Thameslink, it's been on thr map since the last addition and it does nothing but clutter the map even more. What makes Thameslink more deserving than Southern, SWR, c2c, GA etc?

I agree with what you said.
