Looks like some of the blame lays at Essex's door as they didn't inform TfL about the roadworks - coupled with the fact that Waltham Forest is effectively having it's road network destroyed and it's no wonder a route like the 20 falls to pieces and has to curtail early. This seems to be one of those situations where it hasn't been explained properly to the public and they end up coming up with something that does sound ludicrous especially when curtailing routes short has being happening for years and is part & parcel of the network.

GA prop don't care about route 20 now. GA lost it to CT PLUS next year in March.

GA prop don't care about route 20 now. GA lost it to CT PLUS next year in March. If you go back on Londonbusroutes.net you will see that the 20 had an extra bus allocated for roadworks. Whilst most have finished the carnage caused remains. However the extra bus was withdrawn by TfL. Nothing to do with GAL not caring. The award to HCT has the same PVR, I believe but with the extra am&pm school trips removed so they should be able to run it reliably.
