So it’s not a good idea to remove it from Edgware Road. The 332 re-routeing is really a double edged sword. I think that the link through Maida Vale to Crossrail at Paddington could be a good thing (although many may just hop on the Bakerloo line) but on the other hand, the 16 and 98 will really struggle to pick up the slack if there are to be no PVR increases to either route. That set of changes involving the 23, 46 and 332 has gone quiet with no official consultation update to state they have been cancelled even though it is likely if not certain they have for now. The most recent update the that consultation was on 2nd October 2017 which stated that the 332 change would go ahead in late Autumm 2018 which of course it didn't leading me to think it was quitely forgotten about

There are now notice posters at bus stops, about the Central London bus changes. It's a simple poster and it doesn't really give the full details.

I doubt many people will actually read these posters anyway but for those who's attention it does catch, woefully inadequate information from TFL about major bus changes is a poor show

Not really much of a need for a poster at Clapham Junction as the peak increase to the 35 won't affect them massively but at the route 45 bus stops it's quite a major change that it will no longer north of Elephant from the 15th. Same with the RV1 totally withdrawn.

There are couple of other things to add into the mix here. Since the consultation bus 16 has had a frequency reduction, so do TfL really now want to remove the 322 as well from Maida Vale. Given the cost imperative, I can't see the 332 being re-routed resulting in a cost increase as the frequency on the 16/98 may need improving. The re-routing of the 332 only provides different links (some new, some lost) and new links doesn't seem to be the imperative these days. There are also rumours of bus changes on the Edgware Road corridor due to the huge Brent Cross development and any changes to the 332 might now be rolled up into that.
As for the 23 and 46, well the 23 is settled now, Westbourne Park - Hammersmith, so it won't be going to Lancaster Gate anytime soon. The only reason for the 46 being cut back to Paddington was to make stand space for the 23, and with that not being needed, why cut the 46 back?

Just wondering if anyone has spotted new blinds for the central London changes? or will we see a lot of bandits for a few weeks.
I wonder what Holloway for example will do for route 4 - just blind a certain batch with the new destination of Blackfriars Station. Would be very costly to add new blinds / fit inserts to all the buses.

The 3, 45 & 59 already have their new destinations as blinded turns so nothing to report from me. Be interesting to hear a list of which routes are having new destinations fitted - I know the 343 buses have already got Aldgate fitted.

Why can't they reinstate the 38 from Clapton to Leyton to help out the 55?
*I've taken the liberty of moving this to a more appropriate thread.
What would be the point of axing the 48 and replacing it with a more frequent 38?
Rightly or wrongly TfL have deemed the 48 superfluous.

I noticed today on the 53 and 172 that the ibus is announcing the changes. It's constantly showing "from 15th June changes to route 53. See website" then sporadically it announced out loud that the route was being withdrawn between County Hall and Whitehall, Horse Guards and new route N53 starts. Over the course of the next week alot of users of the affected routes will hopefully see/hear these announcements to make up for the rather poor bus stop info.
