Noticed yesterday route 55 LTs seem to have larger door signs advising passengers to board via the front doors. Not sure how much impact this will have but might help!

It will have little impact I imagine as the majority of the time the doors will likely be already opened where punters are even less likely to notice the signs. Having said that the revenue would then refer to the signs if there's a dispute between them and a punter who has entered through the 'wrong' doors.

Not long come off a 159 where there is now an audio announcement on boarding changes from March 6th. Not sure if this also applies to the 59¹, which although is a different garage and company shares around one third of its routing with the 159.
¹ ‐ and therefore also the 137

The 24 & 27 are also converting so seems to be done on a garage by garage basis instead.

Wait until there's even more confusion along places such as Victoria Street and Whitehall which are awash with LTs when the 24 will be front door boarding only. It seems that just as all Stagecoach's LT routes are now front door boarding only, TfL aspire to move through all the Abellio ones as the 267 has already been done with the other LT routes at QB also in he pipeline I guess the 3 and 68 will follow shortly.

Think you are a little unfair here, however they did it there would be places operating in both modes ... doing it garage by garage or operator by operator, makes the most logical sense to me. 8 and 55 currently operate common sections with other LT routes and have not been announced the great disaster you are suggesting.

Surely, doing all routes at once would of made the most sense removing the confusion out of the equation?

You then counteract that by saying, how much extra revenue will we generate if we introduce x% early.

You then counteract that by saying, how much extra revenue will we generate if we introduce x% early. That's fair enough but equally you could then say given the original date of introduction was January for all routes, TfL initially expected all to be implemented after the 8's trial last year. If the sufficient length of time was given, all could of been done by end of Jan/early February.

Hey with no details yet published about further conversion the possibility that all routes get coverted on the same day remains, seeing as we have had it confirmed at least 1 Metroline route is also converting ... though very sceptical about this option
