consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/route-92/A new development in Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing includes around 2,000 residential properties for private rent along with associated retail facilities. Route 92 currently serves Oldfield Lane North to the west of the development. There is currently no bus service on the section of Greenford Road to the east of the development. We have been working closely with the developer and the London Borough of Ealing to provide bus services to the new development by installing new bus stops and a bus lane on Berkeley Avenue to the south of the new development. It is proposed to re-route the 92 via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road in order to serve the new development.

My only comment on this would be that TfL should of titled the consultation ‘Greenford‘ instead of ‘Ealing’.

I wonder why there isn’t a stop for the College on Greenford Road? I’ve heard a rumour that the 395 will be rerouted via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road instead of Via Oldfield Lane North and Rockware Avenue:

Google Maps from July this year showed the stop in the same place you mention and with a new style grey shelter so possibly a mistake on their behalf?

I’ve heard a rumour that the 395 will be rerouted via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road instead of Via Oldfield Lane North and Rockware Avenue: Altering the 395 route in that way means that it would no longer serve Greenford Station. I would be surprised if TfL would do that.

This is a photo of a bus stop on Berkeley Avenue. It’s looks as if the rerouting of the 92 via Berkeley Avenue is going ahead.

I wonder when the results of this consultation is going to be released. It most be going ahead because there is a bus only bus lane on Berkeley Avenue is ready and there are bus stop spaces or markings on Berkeley Avenue. The Stops on Berkeley Avenue are just about ready they just need flags and maybe bus shelters. It’s only the bus stops on Greenford Road that need to be built and ready.

@cobo rif153 considering this is your local area - how are locals reacting to the reroute near Oldfield Close?

@cobo rif153 considering this is your local area - how are locals reacting to the reroute near Oldfield Close? They don’t mind it but they would rather a bus route ran the length of Greenford Road and went to Ealing,
