Well that’s another wasted FOI. More wasted money that TfL can’t afford! Maybe they should start changing people for processing them. FOIs are a legal right and help the general public with information that should generally be in the public domain. They are used by journalists on a regular basis to help uncover scandals. For some reason, the most recent example that comes to my mind now is from 2019 and was related to national police cuts. It's quite rude for you to say that the FOI was "wasted" when someone reviewed it and gave it the okay. It also looks wrong for you to berate a fellow member for providing accurate advice. FOI requests can't be refused unless there are legal reasons to do so. They are intended for cases where information appears to be being concealed for inappropriate reasons. For this reason they have to routed through the legal eagles before being answered by the appropriate people. The answers have to checked and passed back through the legal department. These procedures take time and cost money. You could have requested the information via the TfL website. This would have saved a lot of money.

So the 92 is diverted alright. One 92 didn’t get the memo and didn’t go via Berkeley Avenue. Don’t TfL put yellow hoods on closed bus stops anymore I suppose that they will eventually get to that. The information at the closed stops say that from 18 July until further notice the 92 will be on diversion TfL are treating it like a diversion but why not say permanently because I don’t think that the 92 will be serving those stops again. There are no bus stops have been on Berkeley Avenue or Greenford Road and no temporary Stops either so how are people going to get off and on but I suppose that Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road will get stops eventually. In fairness to COBO, it looks like the current state of affairs on the 92 is a bit of a mess. The routing through Oldfield Lane North is very well established. To divert the route via Berkeley Avenue without any stops in place along Berkeley Avenue or on Greenford Road in parallel with the closed stops on Oldfield Lane North is very poor customer service from TfL. It’s the kind of thing that discourages people from using buses. @cobo First port of call for enquiries should be TfL customer services. If they cannot answer your question or you are asking for raw data, then go for FOI.

I despair at trying to report anything other than very routine matters about bus stops through the TfL Streetcare webpage: Hail and ride information posts not shown on the asset maps - so can’t report graffiti on them, unlike for bus stops. Newish bus stops installed are not shown on the asset maps - so can’t report graffiti on them. Bus stop flags removed after vehicle collision and not reinstated- can’t be reported as no option to do so.

TfL have emailed back saying that they apologised for the lack of bus stops on Berkeley Avenue and have given my concerns to the Service Delivery Manager.
They say hopefully they are going to rectify this in future and do acknowledge that there are bus stop markings on the road.
Meanwhile because of lack of stops on Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road it’s causing havoc with the 92’s ibus so people or I don’t know when it’s turning up at the other stops because buses when on the diversion go missing.
Also because of lack of stops people are trying to hail buses at Petrol station forecourt and because that’s unsafe buses just drive pass them.

The diversion has ruined the 92 there seems to be constant delays and this caused by removing a Lane on Greenford Road and the constant traffic on Greenford Road. Greenford Road now has bus stop markings and temporary flags for the new stops. I wonder when the new stops on Greenford Road and Berkeley Avenue will start to appear on the Ibus and TfL website.

CHANGES TO ROUTE 92 FROM SATURDAY 12 NOVEMBER Route 92 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. Buses will also be permanently routed via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road from this date. This is following the borough closing access from Oldfield Lane North to Greenford Road to buses for a cycle lane to be built. Buses will serve new stops on Berkeley Avenue outside the Ferrero UK offices and on Greenford Road near Greenford Service Station.

So 92 is “permanently” diverted via Berkeley Avenue but the new stops aren’t showing up the TfL or listed on LVF 🤷🏿♂️
