Anyone done the whole Underground network end to end? So basically going on every line and going through every route possible? I know it’s hard to do because some lines have several routes but I was thinking of doing the ones with just one route (obviously the W&C is closed atm so I’ll have to wait for that to reopen).

Like an Underground challenge? No... haven't got the stamina.
A line end to end? I have done a few lines... in the cab, to learn their entire track layout.
And the Victoria Line (almost) quite regularly, Walthamstow to Stockwell, as I (used to) frequent South London quite a lot.

Considering that under half of the Underground is actually above ground, it’s kind of nice to see houses and roads while travelling at 40-50 mph speeds.

Nearly for me - the stretch of District Line to Kensington Olympia is the only section of the Underground I've not done due to it's very limited service. I've done a few lines end to end such as: Victoria Line Bakerloo Line Waterloo & City Line Metropolitan Line from Aldgate to Uxbridge Metropolitan Line from Aldgate to Chesham Hammersmith & City Line Circle Line Central Line from West Ruislip to Epping (this took stupidly long so only do if you really have all the time in the world) Northern Line from Kennington to High Barnet Northern Line from Kennington to Edgware District Line from Wimbledon to Edgware Road I haven't done any of the full journeys on the Piccadilly Line only half journeys from Green Park to mainly Cockfosters or Heathrow whilst I can't remember if I once did a Stratford to Stanmore journey on the Jubilee Line

If I was to do this, I would take the “one route” lines first such as the Circle, H&C, W&C (when it reopens), Jubilee, Bakerloo and Victoria lines. Then I’ll do the rest.

The only bit I never did was the ELL to the old Shoreditch station

I've done all the DLR routes from end to end many many many times....
Combined over a number of journeys, I've done the following end-to-end Bakerloo, District, H&C/Circle, Jubilee, Piccadilly, TfL Rail (east and west) and LO Gospel Oak to Barking, Romford to Upminster, Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford, Highbury to West Croydon and New Cross Gate.

UPDATE: It's been a year and two days (crazy how time flies these days) since I started this thread and I have been doing a lot of travelling recently since lockdown ended and we're all free to go out again so this is what I've done for each line so far. Bearing in mind that the some of lines I've done in separate stages so not all in one go. Piccadilly: Wood Green to Hounslow West
Central: Debden to Holborn. Almost completed the Hainault loop, I have Chigwell, Grange Hill and Roding Valley left. Northern: Edgware to Morden via Waterloo branch. Need to do the High Barnet/MHE and the Bank branch before it shuts for a year. Oh and the extension too when it's open in 11 days time Victoria: Walthamstow Central to Vauxhall. Really like the 09 stock very nippy trains. Shame they're crowded af almost every day Jubilee: This one is split between St John's Wood to Stanmore and Stratford to Green Park. Only have Bond St and Baker St left Bakerloo: Piccadilly Circus to H&W District: just like the Jubilee, this is split because of the many routes this has to make it easier. People talk about splitting the Northern Line, you can make two new lines out of the District Line. Done Mile End to Wimbledon. Done the Edgware Road branch too. Circle/Hammersmith and City: Done the full "circle". H&C done from Barking to King's Cross so in a way I've 100% done this one. Metropolitan: Watford to Finchley Road. I would like to do the fast trains but due to work it's not possible. Waterloo and City Line: also done this too.

Part 2: First post was too long to include the other types of Rail around London. Overground: Watford DC Line: haven't been on this line before; untouched territory Lea Valley Lines: Done the Enfield Town Branch. Haven't touched the Chingford one and only got to Southbury on the Cheshunt one. East London Line: Done the West Croydon/Crystal Palace/Clapham Junction branches. Just the New Cross one to do. North London Line: Done the Clapham Junction branch. Was gonna do the Richmond branch to connect with the DMs on the 190 but they've been withdrawn recently Romford Line: I dunno if I should bother GOBLIN: Haringey Green Lanes to Barking. Might do the rest of the stations when the extension opens next year
DLR: Stratford to Beckton I'm gonna do the Lewisham branch this week and decide when to do the Woolwich Arsenal branch, Stratford International and the stations leading up to Bank/Tower Gateway
Trams: Elmers End to Wimbledon. Have the Beckenham Junction/New Addington branches left
TFL Rail: Liverpool St to Romford.

I do want to do the Watford Noth Curve (Watford to Rickmansworth) The original Shoreditch station will forever haunt me that I didn't get to go there before it's closure in 2006. Heathrow T5 is the only station on the Piccadilly line I haven't set foot in as of yet. I've always found South Harrow to be an interesting station especially with the layout and the sidings.

I'm the same with Shoreditch that was the only station that I never did at least I have been to Shoreditch High Street but its not the same. I forgot to add TfL rail I haven't done the bit to Reading the furthest I have been is Slough and obviously will need to do the core section and the Northern line to battersea when that opens on the 20th

I've also got one or two bits of the Overground left - the bits above Edmonton Green as well as the section between Gunnersbury & Willesden Junction but the DLR I ticked fully off ages ago. And yes, Kensington Olympia on the District is still to do for me

I've done Liverpool Street to Shenfield when it was operated by ONE Railway and National Express East Anglia.
