So has the District Line always used platforms 7, 8 and 9 at Ealing Broadway including when it went beyond Ealing to Windsor?

They all have buffers so Windsor trains wouldn’t have used these Before the Central Line platforms were built (as an island between the 2 former separate GWR and District Railway stations) there was connection to mainline through platforms, similar to the setup that existed for many years at Richmond. The Windsor trains stopped years before the Central line came to Ealing in 1920
