Just looking at the picture after it was extinguished, I assumed it was a single decker judging by how much was left! It’s a double-decker President.
I hope this doesn’t affect the operator badly, especially in these difficult times.

I hope this doesn’t affect the operator badly, especially in these difficult times. from a PR or operational perspective? hopefully the PR isn't too bad, but they definitely shouldn't suffer at all operationally as they've just taken delivery of 5 ex Preston Bus tridents for new school contracts next year, 2 of which are already in service, plus they'll presumably have enough buses to cover for failures.

Reported to be Trident SK52 OGW ex Lothian 638. It was, renumbered 542 in Xelabus' fleet. It had not long returned to service following a full refurbishment in April, and I believe a Euro VI emissions retrofit in May, ready for the new school year in September.
