I noticed there's no thread for this so I've created a place to report vehicle findings and to share general information about the GAL shuttles to and from Twickenham Rugby Stadium.
Yesterday I saw: SEe4 SEe10 SEe11 SEe15 SEe17 SEe19 SEe25 SEe28 SEe50 EH119 EH224 MHV60 WHV175 WHV184 WHV186

I noticed they are £3 now. When London United ran it it was free and their staff would be there collecting money for charity.

Presumably they remain free post match just to get everyone away as quickly as possible to cause as few commotions in the area as possible.

Where do they run to/from? I don’t see them lined up outside Richmond Station anymore.

Any idea what buses will be used on the Twickenham rugby shuttle after the 507 and 521 get withdrawn? I know my observations (above) are somewhat outdated but I'd imagine more hybrids would be used. Most Central London routes have reduced PVRs at the weekends. Even those that don't have frequency reductions use fewer buses due to reduced traffic conditions. Additionally there are school route buses which could be used on such shuttles. For the occasions when the shuttles run on school termtime weekdays, operational spares could be used. Commercial buses can also be used as TfL has no involvement.

I thought the contract specified electric buses.

Do they still run a shuttle from Hounslow Bus Station? A few years back, arrived in Hounslow fully expecting to catch a 281 to the stadium, but as I alighted my 222, there was an SP waiting at that stop right on the entrance to the bus station. It took us right to that Tescos on Mogden Lane. It defo wasn’t a 281 either as I didn’t have to pay. Don’t even really like Rugby, but as DHL were main sponsors (or something) my site got allocated a box, that free bar took an absolute hammering…..

Probably busier post match to Hounslow. London United had a member of staff advising passengers where to catch the bus from. I don’t think Go Ahead do that.
