Controversial time. If you were TfL and you had to close or two or even a branch to save money which one would it be.
I would close the following:
Bakerloo Circle Hammersmith & City

I would close the following: Bakerloo Circle Hammersmith & City Closing the H&C Line i can agree with but the Circle Line too? No way. What I think they'll do is: Cut the Bakerloo north of Stone bridge Park Withdraw the H&C line and use the extra trains for the District and the Circle. (The H&C line is shut most weekends anyway) Reduce the Jubilee Lines frequency even more Withdraw the Woodford- Hainault shuttle

I seriously think you replace parts of Circle line with the District and Metropolitan Line and it wouldn’t cause a problem.

Are you thinking of extending the Met further into Central London?

Maybe north of Wembley Park or West Hampstead but certainly not the eastern section...surely?
I think a lot of the Jubilee or Bakerloo line closing because of lack of funding is purely a PR stunt to receive funding from the government in the form of another bailout. Same with the 100 bus routes potentially being withdrawn. They couldn't even withdraw the 19/N271 because of how strongly opposed local government was of the changes, surely they wouldn't go as far as to withdraw 100?

Yes I would extend the Metropolitan Line further into Central London to Tower Hill.

Controversial time. If you were TfL and you had to close or two or even a branch to save money which one would it be. I would close the following: Bakerloo Circle Hammersmith & City You couldn't leave just one Tube Line between Paddington & Liverpool Street. Maybe they could make the Circle Line a circle again with the Picadilly cutback to Rayners Lane & maybe the Central Line suspended on the loop between Woodford & Hainault.

I also withdraw the following: Kensington Olympia branch of the District Line. Withdraw the Central line between West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens and divert it to Uxbridge.

But what if you beefed up the District Line and Metropolitan Lines and increased there frequencies. Withdrawing the Piccadilly Line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge is a good idea.

The Central on the loop is fairly low frequency so savings would be minimal. I think in all honesty the Bakerloo is the most at risks as reported especially with the age of the rolling stock.

That wouldn't work. A lot of the Metropolitan & District Line branches require specific frequencies and if you increase the lines they then might increase costs on the rest of the line. You also have to remember that the lengths of the lines compared to the Circle is also very different and the Circle Line is very easy to reduce frequency on because of its demand being very centred around Central London.
I do think the Woodford to Hainault branch on the Central Line is also at risk, there are plenty of the least used stations on the network along that branch (Fairlop, Roding Valley, Chigwell) and also from the closure of the Ongar to Epping branch of the Central Line 25 odd years ago.

I'd agree Bakerloo is at risk.

I would close the following: Bakerloo Circle Hammersmith & City As much as it pains me to do this: The Bakerloo north of Queens Park/Stonebridge Park - Overground exists still The Circle Line - District, H&C & Metropolitan all exist The W&C The Piccadilly west of Rayners Lane - Metropolitan exists

The Ongar line was peak only not the same as the Hainault Loop.
