Eden Street in Kingston and also John Lewis/Bentall Centre get very busy during the day. Worst stop is the one in Eden Street outside McDonald’s as so many routes serve this stop. That southbound stop in Eden Street is bad because of the 2 sets of traffic lights which preceed it, they bunch up the buses do they arrive in a group Particularly horrible at the moment because of the Thames Water works on the other side of the road - it is really easy to miss your bus because it’s hiding behind another while loading up.

Camden Town station bus STOPS heading south and west and also the 29/253/274 heading north are crazy all hours of the day
Id nominate every bus stop on the 31 between Camden and Kilburn Park as schools are everywhere
Queen's Crescent on the 24/46 towards Camden

Lewisham station could be quite bad, almost anytime of day, depending on route. I did London Bridge station a few times on a Friday night, complete nightmare and free for all with many people drunk. I’ve heard the 02 arena , Greenwich, bus stops are a nightmare , it’s not uncommon for hundreds of people waiting to get on a bus.

I’d say the Marble Arch Station stop (on Park Lane) towards Victoria. The pavement is so so narrow and there’s a shelter which means queues of passenger just block the pavement.

Plus the countdown is always a mess with the amount of arrivals and the buses constantly arrive at the same time. Not a fun stop to use at all. There could be a case for segregating it if there’s space like they do 2 stops down - one stop for the Knightsbridge lot and one for the 6 (soon 23) and Victoria routes.

I think there used to be 2 stops but this changed when the artics were introduced on the 73.

I’d say the Marble Arch Station stop (on Park Lane) towards Victoria. The pavement is so so narrow and there’s a shelter which means queues of passenger just block the pavement. This is probably the most dangerous stop in London, 11 routes trying to serve it often resulting in chaos and of course the overcrowding has been made worse by the 137 being cut back from Oxford Circus.

Marble Arch needs a rethink in general (so do places like HPC). Given that it gets less jammed than HPC and there's already a bus lane through the middle used as stands which could be turned into an interchange of sorts, seems easier to rearrange the space for better interchanges and wider pavements.
