So what would happen if 23 goes back it old rerouting but via Green Park as 9 won't cope on it own so if another route need down that way it maybe be 390 or 73 that would/could go back to Hammersmith as the old 10 did and this would bring back King's Cross to Hammersmith link Both the 73 and 390 are way too long to go to Hammersmith. Unfortunately Transport Failed London's decisions keep getting worse, first the removal of the 10 to replace it with the 23, then only to change their mind to reroute the 23 (which is better than it is now) but without replacement

with the amount of chopping and changing I do wonder if the 476 will be on the next route on the chopping block if TfL want to do more cuts. If the changes ever go through it will a form of it's former self. The 476 I speculate will be involved in the Meridian Water development changes as to why it was retained with minimal purpose. I predict it will swap terminus with the 341 with the N341 retained to serve on its current routings to allow the development to be served by a daily night service. It's noticeable aswell the 476 will be retained on its current 6bph mentioned on the frequency change docs paper whilst the 341 was recently reduced to 5bph. May prove more additional support with a higher service provision from its 6bph as opposed to the current 5bph. That could happen. Could it be possible that the 476 gets withdrawn completely and have the 73 extended to Tottenham.

Enfield Council cannot guarantee construction before 2024 at the earliest, even the first houses have yet to take shape near the station, let alone the ones replacing IKEA. How many people will be desperate to get to Newington Green by bus if the 476 is there? The route is being cut back from King's Cross to somewhere useless. Limited stand space with the 341 and 192 coming and going in both directions. The train can take them to Stratford and Liverpool Street and more useful destinations than either 341 or 476. TfL still haven't grasped that many don't go to the office in central London since Covid and mainly work from home

Clearly TfL doesn't think another route is needed. It won't happen but I'd like to see the 452 diverted to Hammersmith to support the 9 which gets packed with tourists especially at weekends. The 52 can cope on its own up to Ladbroke Grove.
