Surprisingly this slipped underneath the radar...
Certainly has confirmed people's suggestions that TFL is doing a lot less to encourage people to use buses, they've also explicitly stated they wish cycle lanes added across London Bridge to be an "alternative to public transport"

That is part of the problem with TfL, how pathetic. Why the hell would I go to look for a bike for 3 bus stops when I come off a train at say London bridge or Monument.

I thought the plan was to increase revenues Well anyway, when you are on the path of getting destroyed you start thinking of such nonsensical stuff anyways

Central London (and London in general) is becoming less family friendly in my opinion. All these changes do is make the capital less accessible to those for whom cycling is not an option. Central London is designed for a younger and more transient demographic. I’m fine with that, my family just spend our time and money in Kent and surrounding boroughs such as Bexley and Bromley. Much nicer options. These boroughs resist the urge to impose 20mph speed restrictions in silly places and seem to have a sensible balance between motor/cycle/pedestrian space. I would cycle in Central London if they had cargo bikes or rickshaws for personal hire. Something that I could throw the kids into and cycle to wherever we needed to go. I would certainly pay for that.
