Not really sure, never been past Greenwich Park in that corner of London. 472 seems to take a rather indirect route, hence mentioning the 177 despite it not completely serving the station itself. However, I would imagine it could be considered reasonable, but not sure how long the walk is. You could be starting your journey from Lidl though. Really? I think the 177 is more indirect, as the section on Eynsham Drive is extremely congested. Eynsham Drive extremely congested? It’s not even congested. You might be thinking about Plumstead High Street. I think taking any bus from Abbey Wood to Woolwich (177, 180, 301, 469 or 472) to connect with the DLR at Woolwich would be ok. If I was near or at Abbey Wood station, I would be far more inclined to take Southeastern or Thameslink into Woolwich to catch a DLR or to London Bridge for a tube connection.

Yeah, I admit that Plumstead High Street is bad, but the Eynsham Drive section around Peterstone Road (the bit that only the 177 uses) can be unexpectedly slow at times.

Suspension and severe delays on the Elizabeth Line again today.
From TFL website.
"Severe delays due to an earlier customer incident. Tickets will be accepted on London Underground, Greater Anglia, DLR, Great Western Railway and London Bus services by any reasonable route."
Again no mention of Thameslink or Southeastern.

That was in reaction to a trespass incident on the Great Western Mainline that shut it completely for some while.
