So here it is, the Route List and Fleet List for the new Manchester Bee Network The format is just a basic CSV: easy to view from whichever device you’re using. Low storage, still gives you all the info you need and copy the text from it if you wish. Two files, this post will have the route list, the one below will have the fleet list. Luckily was fairly quick to put together with only 78 routes and 324 buses. School routes and aren’t included, along with the Stagecoach school bus fleet, as they’re not really full public routes and vehicles. Any updates and errors spotted would be very welcomed Credit to bustimes.org who supplied quite a bit of info for this Route List: Manchester Routes CSV 7.4.24.csv (10.5 KB)

You’ve put a lot of work into this: thank you.
I do hope Bee Network remove the duplicate route numbers sometime soon. There really is no need (eg) for there to be two route 8s, the Wigan one could easily be something else ending in 08.

There really is no need (eg) for there to be two route 8s, the Wigan one could easily be something else ending in 08. That's an interesting comment. When the Passenger Transport Executives were created in the Metropolitan Counties in the early 1970s they renumbered routes to avoid duplication* within the County. After privatisation and deregulation some of the old numbers were brought back into use, as it was felt that passengers might prefer the 'traditional' numbers! * It wasn't just in the Met. Counties either. In the South West, Western National renumbered Devon General routes after it took on managerial responsibility for the latter.

Updated for the addition of Tranche 2, and all the route renumberings from 7th April I’ve added a T column in the fleet list for vehicles which are probably not gonna be in the Manchester fleet for the long term, as at least part of the batch have been out of service for quite a while

There is an interesting discrepancy between that and the press release put out. Those documents state Tameside A was won by Diamond and GNW won the B franchise yet the press release TfGM put out states that GNW have the A franchise and Diamond the B.

Buses are gradually being refurbished and given TfGM interiors (basically grey spotted moquette and yellow grabpoles).
I rode such an E400 in Wigan last November. Due to work/domestic commitments I had my May bus trip on Thursday instead of a Saturday. I rode refurb Go North West Streetdeck 3477 (formerly with Diamond) and Stagecoach E300 27955 (formerly with First).
From what I have seen, the ex-GA London WVLs and ex-RATP SPs have not been refurbished yet. I rode Stagecoach 15381 (SP65) then GA 3475 (WVL355).
Regrettably I was not in the right place to ride an ex-Oxford Volvo B5LH. I later saw that, according to Bustimes, a majority are at Oldham but I never went there. I saw plenty of 59s and 83s but these were largely BYDs.
